P.S. The album is awesome, but I have to give a fair warning about the song on there named "This Side Of The Sky". If you listen to it, make sure that tissues are nearby because you may need them. So far, I've only listened to that song twice.

Its actually not bad.... No swearing in any song,thats rare for after 2000 and it sounds pretty good.... It was obviously mixed analogue for the record.

Kenny Rogers - Daytime friends

Two albums on cd by Eric Martin. If the name's not familiar, it's because he never hit it big as a solo singer. After releasing some solo albums in the mid 80s he ended up the lead singer of a rock band named Mr. Big who had 2 top 40 hits in the late 80s. Apparently their sound was rock/hard rock. But the two songs they charted with were definitely more pop than rock. They got into the top 10 with an original song To Be With You, which I really like. Then they got in the top 40 (I think it only got into the top 20) with a remake of Cat Stevens' song Wild World (which is pretty good too), and then they seemed to disappear. From what I found out the band broke up in like the early to mid 90s, but have reunited on occasion but Eric Martin mostly went back to his solo career and his style is also decidedly rock.

Anyways his albums I got are both from the early 2000s. One is titled I'm Goin' Sane and the other one is Destroy All Monsters. I'm not a huge fan of the music, but I like his singing and his lyrics, as he writes most of his own songs. But the last song on both albums are covers. The last song on Destroy All Monsters is a cover of Bread's If, which while "softer" than the other songs on the album really "rocks" more than the original. And the last song on I'm Goin' Sane is a remake of The Cars' Just What I Needed. Which also rocks more than the original but it's kind of interesting.

I havent played it yet but it looks as if it will play fine w/hardily any noise.......

She plays fine...... No skips,hardily any noise at all!!


You wouldnt think that seeing how it was! -- It was absolutely disgustingly dirty....... Im glad those were not scratched but just dust or whatever on it!

Many people are turned off if they see a record like that but they dont realise 99% of the time,all it needs is love.... A good wash,etc........

I think if I goto that thrift store again ill give the guy $10 for it cause its def worth it! (Even though the cover is a bloody mess)

I like getting cassettes and 8 tracks because I can easily listen to them in Mono.. (I have an adapter that combines left and right channels)

I do have a MONO record player (1950s) but it doesnt always work well.. (Speed is not constant as it should be)

And then just a little while ago I bought a cd copy of an album by an all female singing quartet from the 80s named The Girls Next Door. The album's titled How 'Bout Us.

^^^ I have two CDs that have such a label on them, and they are both from LeAnn Rimes: Remnants and God's Work are the albums, and they are two of her more recent releases.

This record says MONO and most I have seen say "MONO 360 Sound"

This one just says MONO and sounds absolutely incredible!!

I figured just MONO would sound better..


What is 360 sound???

I dont now if it is as the 78 Mary had on in the movie was a standard size 78 .. The one I got today is full size (Same size as a 33)

I dunno what country this is from but it sounds goregous.. The US release sounded like crap....

This has paper labels and in 1986,next to no cassette had paper labels from the states...

Its so upsetting. The US is the worst country for forcing this digitrash on people and its just sad....

Its beautiful hearing Chicago 18 so good!!!! (The record sounds good)
