"Chico" Returns After 22-Year Absence

LOS ANGELES (UltimateTV.com) - TV Land has acquired the rights to run “Chico and the Man,” which hasn’t been seen on television since its original four-year run beginning in 1974.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, TV Land will debut the series starring the late Freddie Prinze Sr. in January along with eight other shows from the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s, including “Charlie’s Angels,” “The Bob Newhart Show,” “Barney Miller,” “Miami Vice” and “My Favorite Martian.” Former late night Nick at Nite staples, "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," will now be shown in primetime on TV Land.
Nick at Nite has also announced plans to air several newly acquired shows in primetime that had not appeared there lately, such as “Gilligan’s Island,” “The Facts of Life” and “Family Ties.”
Three's Company was also announced to debut this September!
