I believe this book and his words stuck in my mind about Dieting.....or making and changing a diet. I don't Believe I talk Diet....it's all a lifestyle of eating, what to eat and how much etc....

He was very popular in the 1980s and 1990s. He helped many people lose weight.

My mom met him at one of his mall appearances. He called her up to the stage and talked to her. She has some of his books.

I listened to the Missing Richard Simmons podcast a few years ago. He cut off contact with most of the people he knew. I guess he just wanted to be left alone.

The biopic should be good. Pauly Shore looks similiar to him. It could be an Oscar winning type role for him.

A long time ago I liked Richard Simmons' Dreammaker syndicated show. Too bad it didn't last longer, much better than all the sleazy decades long talk shows like Jerry Springer and Maury that belong in the garbage can.

He had a half hour show back in the 80s. Around here it was on in the very early morning, before hours of local news became the thing to do.

I think it ran for a few seasons, and a few episodes are on Youtube.
