I have never gotten into Miss America before, but this year my aunt's granddaughter Jessica Tilton is one of the finalists Miss Illinois. The pageant is no longer broadcast on TV, finals can be seen for free Sunday night at 7PM eastern time on watchmissamerica.com. Monday it will be available on YouTube (don't know if that is just the finals or earlier rounds as well).

Miss America pageant is the original I think. It used to always take place in Atlantic city and Burt Parks was the host. Now IDK , I haven't watched it in years .

Miss USA , every year it was at a different location and the winner goes on and represents the United States in the Miss Universe pageant.

But the main difference I remember when I used t watch them was Miss Ameruca had a talent competition and muss USA didn't. ;)
