An Honeymooners MLK Day:

(Ralph and Ed are watching the news in Ed’s apartment.)

News Anchor: “Today marks the 38th anniversary of MLK Day.”

MLK (on TV): “I have a dream…”

Ralph: “That dream has come true.”

Ed: “Unlike your dreams Ralphie.”

Ralph: “I would thank you to shut up. That man Martin was a great man. I have said that time and time again. He was a great man.”

Ed: “You got that right Ralph. Without him, we wouldn’t have people of color do the great things that they do.”

Ralph: “That is so true Norton. It’s a shame that he was so hated. He is a role model.”

Ed: “A role model is so true.”

Ralph: “I sure wish that he was alive today.”

Ed: “Yeah.”

Ralph: “Martin Luther King was a great man. He was the King.”

Ed: “Unlike you. Alice has proved that you are not the king.”

Ralph (yells): “OK NORTON. PUT ‘EM UP!”

(Ralph chases after Ed.)

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: “The Miami Beach crowds are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!”

(Crowd cheers.)
