Discussing The Partridge Family albums, in my humble opinion the first three of them, the self titled one, Up To Date, and Sound Magazine are all very good and worth owning, especially Sound Magazine which I think is the best Partridge Family album overall.

The Christmas album is decent/good but this album is actually where the song quality of the albums starts to decline.

The last four albums, Shopping Bag, Notebook, Crossword Puzzle, and Bulletin Board, are mostly on the mediocre side and none of these in my opinion are really essential to own unless you're a completist like me who wants to own all the albums. I have these albums but to be honest I don't listen to them very often.

The Shopping Bag album contains The Partridge Family's last great hit single titled It's One Of Those Nights (Yes Love).

Something's Wrong is a pretty good song from the Notebook album, it was not a hit but was released as a "B" side single.

David Cassidy's solo albums for Bell Records, in my opinion Cherish is the only one that's really worth owning, the other two, Rock Me Baby and Dreams Are Nothin More Than Wishes aren't that great.

In the mid 1970's, the 1975-76 timeframe, David Cassidy recorded three albums for RCA Records and in my opinion all three are quite good and worth owning. The album titles are: The Higher They Climb The Harder They Fall, Home Is Where The Heart Is, and Gettin It In The Street which in my opinion is the best of the three.
