View Full Version : How many bedrooms? Janice 09-17-2002, 06:32 PM I just started watching this show, and was surprised that Wally and Beaver shared a room. Did the house have only two bedrooms? FOL85NatandMrsGRock 09-17-2002, 07:13 PM quite surprisingly, they talked about having guest bedrooms, at least i thought it was plural, i know they had at least ONE guest bedroom, and i too find it strange that they share a bedroom! BBF 09-17-2002, 08:25 PM I saw a house plan of the Cleaver house once and it actually showed there were 4 bedrooms!!! (in the new house) So, why Wally and Beaver shared a room is beyond me! I sure wouldn't share a room if there were 2 extra ones just sitting there taking up space! FrankBank 09-18-2002, 09:09 AM I always thought they shared the room for "TV purposes" - more mischief and mayhem in one shot/room...... tdr 09-18-2002, 12:21 PM In both houses they refer to "THE guest room," and in the first house Beaver does move into that room once, but he is scared and goes right back to the other room. Then once Wally talks about moving into the guest room, and Ward says, "Wally, if you did that, then we wouldn't have a guest room." In both houses there should be 4 'bedrooms.' In many similar houses people use one such room for another purpose, like a 'craft room.' But it's true that a lot of interaction, scheming, and narration and summation diaglog takes place in Wally's and Beaver's room which would not if they had separate rooms frani 09-21-2002, 11:43 PM In one of the eps where they Cleavers are looking for a house, June is reading the paper and sees an ad for a three bedroom house that she says sounds perfect and Ward looks at the ad and said, Oh, that's our house, the agent said he was going to list it. masterassdragger 10-24-2002, 01:39 PM here are house plans for 211 pine street.
