Intoxicating Eps
Kojak (https://www.myreviewer.com/DVD/144393/Kojak-Season-4/144426/Review-by-Stuart-McLean)
"Kojak's Days, Parts 1 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0621337/) & 2 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0621338/)"
Feb. 1 - 7, 1977
Kojak (Telly Savalas) must unravel the mystery of a white Rolls Royce with a body in the trunk while trying to find a woman who murdered her husband. Meanwhile, a boy (Scott Firestone) causes chaos in the squad room as he confronts the dealer who sold drugs to his mother.
This episode may have inspired 15-year-old Ronney Zamora to kill his elderly neighbor in 1977, prompting his defense attorney (Ellis Rubin) to come up with the "Television Intoxication" defense.
Zamora's trial was also one of the first to be broadcast wholly on television, paving the way for Florida's use of cameras in the courtroom.
