It's not a stupd question at all. Yes, Freddie Prinze Jr. is the son of the late Freddie Prinze who died at the age of 22 from a self-inflicted gun shot wound. He was married at the time of his death and Freddie Jr. was just a baby. He grew up never really knowing his father.

I've been going through the threads, and I'm really impressed by the amount of information about Freddie. I was especially excited to read recollections from people who had actually met him in the past. There are a lot of dedicated fans here, and everyone seems to be really kind.

I guess the old MSN groups don't exist anymore or have been replaced by Facebook or Instagram fan pages.
