The Obsolete Man 09-03-2003, 01:14 AM I say Harvick at Richmond.
He's always done well there, and he's been a Bridesmade these past three weeks... bout time we saw him in white (with black checks).
RustyShackleford 09-06-2003, 11:48 PM Well the race was ok, after the race was better i mean Ricky Rudd did not need to hit Kevin Harvick like that, Kevin had a great car and i wanted him to win and what was the deal with Jeff Burton and Robby Gordon, RCR had a really rough night
The 21 team and the 29 teams were sent to the "Big Red Truck" after, wonder if fines will be handed down
And a great run by Jeremy Mayfield finishing 2nd good to see that for him he has been running good recently
Loudon Prediction: Jeff Burton
Three'sCompanyrules 09-07-2003, 01:53 AM Yeah I thougth the racing was ok to, but I didn't want Ryan Newman to win, so I hope Jeremy Mayfield would have won, I'm glad to see him do well, I thought Dale Jr. had the strongest car of the night until his problems.
Ah the drama of Nascar, atleast Kevin didn't hit Ricky after the race, but it looked like he wanted to, I have a feeling fines will be handed out probably more heavy on Kevin's side.
My Loudon prediction is Micheal Waltrip.
RustyShackleford 09-14-2003, 06:19 PM Good race today, great to see Jimmie Johnson win he is my 3rd favorite driver and also glad to see that his crew members are ok even though it was Jeff's dumb mistake,NASCAR needs to make a rule about the passing of pit road
Joe Nemecheck had a great run in third today, nice to see him run good because he needs a ride for next year.
and the SAFER barrier seems to be doing its job, im glad they decided to put it up at more places this year
MBNA America 400 prediction: Bobby Labonte
Three'sCompanyrules 09-15-2003, 01:43 AM I didn't see alot of the race today, because I was watching the Steelers game but I did see the accident on pit road and I agree Rusty NASCAR does need to make a rule about passing on pit road and I'm glad Jimmie's crew memebers are ok.
From the racing I saw it was a good race again Dale Jr. seemed to be very dominate, btu again he had some problem to prevent him from winning.
I agree I'm glad they put the soft walls up they are doing there job and hopefuly all tracks will eventualy have them.
My Dover prediction is Dale Jr.
musicradio77 09-20-2003, 09:32 PM I saw Nascar racing on TV every weekend. While I was out, I sometimes listened to racing on WGHQ, not in the NYC area, probably in the Kingston area. Does New York City will pick up Nascar racing on the radio? I checked through the stations like EPSN Radio 1050 and WFAN, no Nascar. What's happening to it anyway? Does anybody in that area like Nascar on the radio?
Three'sCompanyrules 09-21-2003, 11:06 PM Well the racing was good but I didn't want Ryan Newman to win again, its nice to see Jeremy Mmayfield do well again.
I was very concerned for Dale Jr. after they took him to the hospital, he suffered a mild concussion and a brusied foot, I'm not sure if he will be able to race next week or not, especialy since its at Talledega.
My Talledega prediction is Kevin Harvick, I would pick Dale Jr. again but his status is uncertin for next weeks race.
RustyShackleford 09-22-2003, 07:36 PM Ryan Newman winning for the 7th time this year, I dont like him but i fear he may be a force to be reckoned with in the 2004 Nascar Nextel Cup. Jeremy has improved alot the last couple of races, good for him
Dale Jr had his problems hope he is ok , still havent heard if he will be racing at Talladega, Also Joe Nemechek took a pretty hard hit but he was ok after.
EA Sports 500 Prediction: Tony Stewart
Three'sCompanyrules 09-24-2003, 06:28 PM Some great news today Dale Jr. has been cleared by doctors to race at Talladega this weekend. I hope he does well this time and Talladega is his best track so maybe he can pull off the sweep this year.
RustyShackleford 09-29-2003, 12:24 AM I am glad to see Michael Waltrip win today, i thought it was pretty funny to see him use the roof hatch to celebrate and once again DEI finishes 1-2.
Elliott Sadler's crash was very scary I havent seen one that bad in a while. Glad to see he was alright. And Larry Foyt was another who had a bad crash, no word on his condition.
Banquet 400 prediction: Ryan Newman
Three'sCompanyrules 09-29-2003, 01:23 AM I'm glad to see Micheal win as well, I hope he can win a non ristrctor plate (sp) race in the future. I also thought it was funny to see him celebrate through the roof hatch, I think every NASCAR team should have those.
Oh man Elliot Saddlers wreck was scary, the last worse wreck I saw this year was the spring Talladega race when Ryan Newman blew a tire and of course the big one followed. I'm assuming that Larry Foyt is ok because I haven't seen any news on him.
My Kansas prediction is: Jimmie Johnson
RustyShackleford 10-06-2003, 12:55 AM Ugh, Ryan wins again, 8 for the year, and fuel mileage once agian plays a factor, and i got a prediction right so thats good
Bill Elliott looked like he was on it today, but in the end he had a good run and Jeremy did too, Evernham Motorsports is getting better
UAW-GM Quality 500 Prediction: Jamie McMurray, He won there last year and the race will be at night like it was last year.
Three'sCompanyrules 10-20-2003, 04:31 PM Well Jeff Gordon wins at Martinsville, which is his 2nd win of the year and he gets the sweep at Martinsville. The racing I thought was good for the most part, and next week its off to Atlanta, which should be a good race lets just hope Ryan doesen't win again.
My Atlanta prediction is Kevin Harvick.
Three'sCompanyrules 10-27-2003, 05:41 PM Good race today although I wish it didn't end under caution Tony Stewart would have made the it interesting if the caution came out. Ryan Nnewman is blaming people again for hi sown mistake, he got loose before Dale Jr. hit him, he did the same thing at the Winston when he blamed Tony Stewart for a wreck that was his fault because he got loose. I'm glad to see Dale Jr. is back to 2nd in the points standings!
My Pheonix prediction is: Terry Labonte
RustyShackleford 10-28-2003, 08:52 PM Crazy unexpected news today about Pontaic pulling out after this year i wonder what happened probably do to lack of teams that run Pontaic i think there is only 6 that do. I wonder what the pontaic teams will do now.
dawsongirl 10-29-2003, 12:23 AM JEFF WON!!!!! JEFF WON!!!!!!

I am soooo sick of Newman and his "I'm perfect" attitude.
EricIdlefan 10-29-2003, 04:39 PM With the exception of Jeff Gordon(ego problem since he became a huge star and cheating on his former wife) & Tony Stewart (attitude adjustmen, bad temper(something in which I plead guilty myself, starting either punching and/or shouting contests) I like all of the drivers with a special emphasis on Mark Martin and Micahel Waltrip(a Major cutie!! One of the nicest and excellent personalities!!)  :happyface

Oh I know what you mean, he thinks since he won all these races he is untouchable, and must blame other people for his own mistakes what an idiot.
I also remember Ryan saying after he crashed at the first Talladega race he said something to the effect that we shouldn't be racing at these places (Talladega and Daytona) and goes and whines about it. If Dale Earnhardt Sr. was still alive I can see him telling Ryan if you can't handle those speeds or that kind of racing then you don't belong in this sport.
I wish Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman found other jobs completley away from Nascar.

I know I heard that news to and I was shocked, if I had to guess why its because lack of teams, I think there was only one 2 car pontiac team this year, and the rest were one car teams. I wonder if pontiac drivers will go to Chevy since both are GM vehicles.
Is there any other car make that could come into NASCAR?

Dale Sr. needs to come back and kick Ryan's ass.
And yes! Kurt can go be an elf for Christmas and Ryan...lawyer. They whine a lot.
Three'sCompanyrules 10-31-2003, 11:23 PM Well Ryan fat toad Newman won the pole again for Sunday's race at Pheonix, Man I can't stand that guy, if he wins on Sunday I am going to go nuts.
Sometimes I wonder if Ryan is winning these poles and races legaly, I remember when Jeff was winning all the other teams accused him of cheating. Now watching Jeff over the years he is a smart driver with a smart team, Ryan on the other hand I'm not so sure about.
I wish Dale Sr. could come back and give Ryan a lesson, I remember the race that Dale Sr. got killed in earlier in the race Dale told Kurt, that Kurt was number 1 if you know what I mean thats what I miss about Dale Sr.
Kurt Busch should have been in that new elf movie thats comming out, he would have been perfect for it. Ryan could be a lawyer or he could work with whiney troubled kids then he would fit right in, he acts like a cry baby sometimes.
RustyShackleford 11-01-2003, 12:08 AM I swear you can set your watch to when Cryin Ryan wins a pole. i cant stand him,i also dont like his attitude, its like qualifing is a joke now, and i too will go nuts if he wins on Sunday
Three'sCompanyrules 11-03-2003, 05:22 AM What a great race today, and I'm happy that Dale Jr. got back in victory lane! :) I thought Jimmie would have something for him, but Jr. had fresher tires so he was able to hold on for the win. This is a big confidence booster for next year. It was also good to see Micheal Waltrip with a great finish. I noticed there seemed to be alot of blown motors today, and the improvements to the track made for great racing.
Also Matt Kenseth has all but clinched the Nascar Winston Cup championship. I was able to meet Matt in the summer of 2002 when he came through Nebraska on the Kyle Petty charity ride, and he is a very nice guy. Anyway congratulations to Matt for winning the championship!
My Rockingham prediction is Ricky Craven.

I agree about all of that! I swear Ryan or his team cheat. He can't be that good.

He's hogging all the poles! The Bud Shootout is gonna be him racing by himself, I swear.
RustyShackleford 11-05-2003, 12:23 AM Im Glad Dale Jr won on Sunday better to see him than Ryan or Kurt. I didnt notice til real late in the race that Goodyear Bridge is gone. And Michael with a good run too ,he has improved alot this year.
Rockingham Prediction: Mark Martin

I've been on that bridge! So weird not seeing it there after walking across it.
Three'sCompanyrules 11-08-2003, 02:52 PM Well Ryan Newman won the pole again. There is know way he can be winning all these poles, why can't Nascar atleast invesigate his team for cheating?
Someone needs to put the bumper to Ryan this weekend, and is it just me or do you get sick of the broadcasters sucking up to Ryan Newman?

I dunno, but it is waaaaay too suspicious.

I agree its definatly suspicious, I really wish they would investigate this, where is Bill France when you need him, I wish he was still the head of Nascar. I can't stand Mike Helton. He has done some good things with saftey, but the way he handles some things I have to question his decision making.
Three'sCompanyrules 11-09-2003, 06:53 PM Congratulations to Bill Elliot for the win today and congratulations to Matt Kenseth for winning his first Nascar Winston Cup championship. :)
Also it was nice to see Jeremy Mayfield do well again and how did Ryan Newman finish that good after he got spun out? That mad eme mad. He clearly tried to run Jeff up the track and I don't blame Jeff for spinning him out.
All in all a good race today.
My Homestead prediction is Tony Stewart.
RustyShackleford 11-09-2003, 07:21 PM Yes indeed an awesome race today, the pre race with B.P going around the track was cool.
Ward Burton showed some muscle early on in the race nice to see him up front. Cool to see Bill Elliott win because he is retireing next year.
And how did Ryan not get penilized but Jeff did, I could not understand that one at all.
Heartbraker of the race was Ken Schrader's crash which once again involved our good friend Ryan Newman suprised he didnt blame someone else for it.
Matt is our 2003 Winston Cup Champion and boy does he diserve it, he is one of the cleanest drivers out there he earned it and it is his, Congrats
Homestead Prediction: Bobby Labonte, although the track has gotten some much needed improvement, Bobby seems to run well there.
EricIdlefan 11-10-2003, 12:56 PM I like Bobby Labonte, Mark Martin, and Bill Elliott because they aren't just good racers but gentlemen!!

RustyShackleford 11-16-2003, 06:12 PM Wow, that was unexpected, poor Bill all those laps led and to lose it on the final lap, good for Bobby (he was my pick this weekend)
What was the deal with the tires, there was a lot of problems with that
Johnny Benson did great today, wonder where hes going to go for next year
I for one love the new configuration for Homestead, way better then what it was
And so long to Winston and 76 they both leave today, sad to see them go. Man, its going to be weird saying NASCAR Nextel Cup
it sucks this is the last race of 2003, but it was a great race to cap off a great season
And i also what to say its been great to come here and share my insight and thoughts on the races, and reading what everyone else thought too it was fun. Im ready for 2004
EricIdlefan 11-18-2003, 05:12 PM Did you know that after a 32-year sponsorship, Winston will stop carrying the NASCAR Winston Sign I heard due to children beginning to smoke!!
Three'sCompanyrules 11-18-2003, 07:06 PM Yeah it was a pretty good Race on Sunday especialy when Ryan and Kurt had there problems.
I to liked the new configuration of Homestead, it was much needed and now can be compered to Atlanta.
Its sad to see Winston and 76 leave, Winston has been a good sponsor for 33 years adn its going to be wierd saying NASCAR Nextel Cup.
The tire thing was a head scratcher, so they may have to bring better tires enxt year.
It was fun talking with all of you about the season and I am looking foreward to 2004! We will have to see who gets new rides in the off season.
Its a little early but my prediction for the Daytona 500 is Dale Jr.

Three'sCompanyrules 11-22-2003, 02:04 AM Well there is some Nascar news early in this off season.
According to Nascar.com Bill Elliot's crew chief Mike Ford, has left the team to be Dale Jarretts crew chief, this should help DJ out alot, and it would be nice to see DJ do well again.
EricIdlefan 11-23-2003, 02:53 PM I hope that either DJ, Bill Elliott, Mark Martin, or Bobby Labonte wins next year's cup!!

He needed help.
Three'sCompanyrules 12-06-2003, 04:14 AM Did anyone watch the Nascar awards tonight? I thought it was pretty good, and I'm glad to see that Dale Jr. won the most poplular driver award!
In some other Nascar news, Bill Elliot will drive only part time next year which in my opinion he should drive the full year and then retire since he ended this season on a good note. Jeff Green will drive the 43 all of next year.
I can't wait for the Daytona 500 next year!!!!
EricIdlefan 12-07-2003, 09:04 PM Love Bill Elliott, a true southern gentleman!!
RustyShackleford 12-07-2003, 09:08 PM I also heard that Johnny Sauter is going to drive the 30 car in 2004. wonder how we will do for RCR
And the awards ceremony was pretty good, its amazing the amout of money these guys make.
Three'sCompanyrules 12-18-2003, 04:01 PM Well get ready for another Busch in Nextell Cup. Kyle Busch is going to run 6 Nextell Cup races this year according to Nascar.com. From what I have seen of Kyle Busch, he acts just like Kurt Busch.
Just a reminder its a little less than 2 months until the Daytona 500!
EricIdlefan 12-18-2003, 04:07 PM I don't know why Joe Gibbs has a hothead like Tony Stewart!!
Three'sCompanyrules 12-30-2003, 01:54 AM Some good Nascar news, this off season. According to Nascar.com Jerry Nadue is testing at the Charolette motor speedway, and will most likley return in the 2005 season. This is very good news!
EricIdlefan 12-30-2003, 03:17 PM I am for anybody except for Jeff Gordon(womanizer) & Tony Stewart(hot-headed)!!
Three'sCompanyrules 01-07-2004, 06:30 PM Major Nascar news today Joe Gibbs has left Joe Gibbs racing to once again be the head coach of the Washington Redskins. Hhe signed a 5 year deal with the Redskins today and will leaveJoe Gibbs racing to his son J.D. Gibbs.
I was suprised to hear about that, but I think its a good move for Joe and I wish him the best of luck in his to the return to NFL.

It was not only suprising to the team, coaches, & the whole entire NFL but to fans and everybody else!! I hope he puts back the integrity and fidelity to the organization ever since he left and Jack Kent Cooke is up in heaven somewhere!!
RustyShackleford 01-08-2004, 08:09 PM To quote Benny Parsons "Man Oh Man!" NASCAR has just made the biggest mistake ever. They have changed the points system for 2004 with a stupid playoff format, this is no good I think, there was no problem with the way it was. I may not even watch this year.
Three'sCompanyrules 01-09-2004, 05:03 PM I heard something about changing the points this year but I don't what they are doing. I don't see how a playoff format works at all for Nascar.
If someone could explain to me what they are doing I would appreciate that.
musicradio77 01-25-2004, 03:39 PM I love NASCAR so much that next month, it will be back for more racing action. I will watch it on TNT and NBC and I will listen to this race on WGHQ part of the MRN Radio package. None of these stations in New York City could carry like WFAN and ESPN Radio 1050. You should check out this website:
http://www.mrnradio.com
musicradio77 01-25-2004, 03:42 PM I listened to the radio on WGHQ last year that the Winston Cup Series was an end of an era. After more than 10 years, the Winston Cup Series ended its relationship with RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. The NEXTEL Cup will be start probably next month on two stations, WGHQ and WRWD.
Three'sCompanyrules 01-28-2004, 06:22 PM 19 more days until the Daytona 500 and the debut of the Nextel Cup series!!!

Will find out!
RustyShackleford 02-07-2004, 02:48 AM The Budweiser Shootout is tonight and what I consider the start of the season. Im ready to finally see those cars on the track after such along off season. And Nascar Nextel Cup is here (still sounds funny to me).
Budweiser Shootout prediction: Kevin Harvick
Three'sCompanyrules 02-07-2004, 05:51 PM The Bud shootout is going to be awesome, I can't wait to watch it tonight, this maybe one of the most interesting Nascar seasons ever with all the changes made, I got my 2004 Nascar Nextell Cup program, should be a great season.
Bud Shootout prediction: Terry Labonte
Also the Daytona 500 is a week from tomorrow!!!!!!!
RustyShackleford 02-07-2004, 11:17 PM Great Race! Im happy to see DJ win after the crap he went through last year, Mayfield's crash was crazy, I cant believe some of his sheetmetal got stuck in the wall, that was weird. Im really looking forward to next Sunday.
Three'sCompanyrules 02-12-2004, 05:04 PM Man the Bud shooout and the two gatoraide 125's were awesome! I am also glad to see DJ win the Bus shootout, and I think he will have a much better season this year then last year. That Jeremy Mayfield wreck was odd especialy to see the sheet metal stuck in the fence.
I'm really happy to see Dale Jr. win the first gatoraide 125, that was a wild race, I didn't see how Jeff Gordon got some damage on his nose but that ended up in his car getting over heated and going a lap down. The second Race was good to with Elliot Sadler winning it.
Well now the big race is on Sunday my Daytona 500 prediction is: Dale Jr.!
RustyShackleford 02-14-2004, 10:15 PM the Daytona 500 is tommorrow, and I cant wait
Daytona 500 Prediction: Kevin Harvick
musicradio77 02-15-2004, 12:40 AM I listened to a little bit of Nascar Busch Series on WGHQ that afternoon before I headed to Friendly's for lunch since the track started to rain on the other hand.
musicradio77 02-15-2004, 01:57 PM There is also Nascar's Nextel Cup racing is now being played on the radio on both WGHQ and WRWD. WGHQ does not the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series racing on the radio. The Daytona 500 is now being heard on the radio.
Three'sCompanyrules 02-16-2004, 04:56 AM Man the Daytona 500 was awesome, I am very very happy to see that Dale Earnhardt Jr. won!!! Micheal Waltrips wreck was very scary and I am glad to see he was ok I honestly thought he was going to be seriously injured, but all the safety stuff Nascar has done, has really helped protect the drivers. I thought it was a very good race today, and can't wait for the races to come!!!!
Next week is Rockingham, should be another great race. My Rockingham prediction is: Bobby Labonte
RustyShackleford 02-21-2004, 12:40 AM My Subway 400 prediction: Jamie McMurray, he qualified second I look for him to run great sunday
And by the way Three'sCompanyrules, you got the win last Sunday with your prediction, and I got a top five with my prediction, good job on that, lets see if you can go 2-0 this Sunday
Three'sCompanyrules 02-22-2004, 04:42 AM Thanks Rustyshackleford, Dale Jr. is just awesome on superspeedways, I'm not sure where Bobby qualified at but he always runs well at Rockingham. Although I think Jamie McMurray will do good also, he has Rockingham figured out, and he dominates there like Mark Martin did a few years ago. So best of luck to Jamie McMurray on Sunday!!
musicradio77 02-22-2004, 02:39 PM Kevin Harvick won the race in yesterday's Busch Series racing. I hope the Subway 400 will be on right now. Who going to win this race?
musicradio77 02-22-2004, 02:43 PM You can check out the MRN schedule for Nascar on this site at:
http://www.mrnradio.com
Three'sCompanyrules 02-22-2004, 07:51 PM What a great finsish to the race today, congratulations to Matt Kenseth on winning and Kasey Kahne is going to be a good driver down the road, Jamie McMurray had a good car just got caught up in the pits and got behind. Carl Long got the wild ride this week, when he flipped over atleast 5 or 6 times I have never seen that before at Rockingham, and also Robby Gordon flipped on his side, but didn't flip. So an overall good race today adn Dale Jr. is still in teh points lead!!
Well no race this next week, but in two weeks its Nascar in Las Vegas, my Las Vegas prediction is Jeff Gordon.
EricIdlefan 02-23-2004, 10:00 PM I pick these to win next week
Jeff Gordon
Dale Earnhardt Jr
Matt Kenseth
Kevin Harvick
Tony Stewart

Well no race this next week, but in two weeks its Nascar in Las Vegas, my Las Vegas prediction is Jeff Gordon.
Even with his bad haircut, I still say yay!
RustyShackleford 03-08-2004, 02:03 AM Good race today, Matt won And Kasey Kahne finishes second, sounds like 2 weeks ago, that is 2 second places for Kahne in a row he is going to do very well i think and it only being his second and third races ever, he is the real deal this year, watch out for this kid.
Golden Corral 500 Prediction: Elliott Sadler
Three'sCompanyrules 03-08-2004, 02:37 AM I thought it was a pretty good race today to, Matt Kenseth is already the top favorite for the championship, his pit crew the killer bee's are just awesome with there pit stops. I was mad at the way Dale Jr.'s car handled all day I never though they could miss the set up that bad, although I do remember that happening to Mark Martin at Michigan a few years ago. Also I am glad noone flipped over this week, and I agree Rustyshacklefors Kasey Kahne is the real deal he will be one to watch as the season goes on.
My Atlanta Prediction is: Terry Labonte
EricIdlefan 03-09-2004, 03:26 AM Next win: Jeff Gordon
Tony Stewart
Matt Kenseth
Michael Waltrip
Dale Earnhardt Jr
Any of those!!
Also don't forget Kevin Harvick
Three'sCompanyrules 03-16-2004, 06:29 PM Man another exciting race this past weekend I am so happy that Dale Jr. won! There were quite a few lead changes and no cautions for wrecks and only 3 cautions total 2 for debris and 1 for a blown motor. Kasey Kahne had another good run, and Matt Kenseth still seems to be unstopable. Next weeks race at Darlington should be interesting, especialy since they added the soft walls and has taken away some of the groove.
In other news Kansas motor speedway has also added the new safer soft walls.
My Darlington prediction is: Kurt Busch
RustyShackleford 03-19-2004, 11:22 PM Kasey Kahne on the pole for Darlington, I want to see him win sometime this year, and i really hope he does, mabye this weekend.
Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 Prediction: Kasey Kahne
Three'sCompanyrules 03-26-2004, 03:51 AM The race last week was a good one towards the end, congratulations to Jimmie Johnson on winning the race. I can't wait to watch the Bristol race, Bristol is my favorite race track of them all!
My Bristol prediction is: Tony Stewart
RustyShackleford 03-29-2004, 06:02 PM ug, Kurt Busch won it,big deal I dont like him, I was pullin for Rusty for the win but he came up short I thought he had him on the last restart in the corner but oh well, Rusty has not won in such along time, he'll be back soon hopefully
Samsung/Radio Shack 500 Prediction: Dale Earnhardt Jr
Three'sCompanyrules 04-03-2004, 01:08 AM Man Kurt Busch ruined a good race I really wanted Rusty to win the race. This weeks Race at Texas should be interesting.
My Texas Prediction is: Mark Martin
Three'sCompanyrules 04-04-2004, 09:37 PM Great finish to the race today!!! I thought Jeff Gordon was going to win it until he had is battery problem and Kasey Kahne is so close to winning, but what a great finish between him and Elliot Sadler. Its good to see Elliot Sadler win and its the first win for Robert Yates since Dale Jarret won at the first Rockingham race last year. This probably was the best Texas race I have seen in along time.
Well next week there is no racing due to the Easter break, but there will be good racing at the next race at Martinsville.
My Martinsville prediction is: Jimmie Johnson
RustyShackleford 04-18-2004, 07:57 PM Good race today, Martinsville puts on a good show. Cool to see Rusty Wallace win today it seems so long since California 2001, the track coming apart was strange, kinda thought it was dumb to red flag the race, but anyway it was good. Talladega next week , I love restrictor plate racing
Aaron's 499 prediction: Kevin Harvick
Three'sCompanyrules 04-24-2004, 11:56 PM Tomorrow should be a good race. Llast was odd when the track at Martinsville seem to fall apart but that was a good race its nice to see Rusty win again.
For my Talladega prediction it would be easy to pick Dale Jr. but I will go with Micheal Waltrip to win the race tomorrow.
Three'sCompanyrules 04-25-2004, 07:14 PM Good race today for the most part and lots of lead changes over 50 lead changes. I didn't like how the race ended though, and by the beer cans and bottles being thrown after the race and at Jeff Gordon I don't think the fans there were happy either. Next weeks race is in California which should be a great race.
My California perdiction is: Jimmie Johnson
Three'sCompanyrules 05-03-2004, 03:59 PM Tthe race was ok this week but not the best in my opinion, it would have been a better race if the outside groove worked better so there could be more side by side racing, and I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with Tony Stewart he seems to hav eto bump everybody on the race track, he needs to be careful or he could possible get suspended next time. Stanton Barrets wreck was a bad one I'm glad to see he was ok.
Well another week off and then the Nascar drivers are off to Richmond. My Richmond prediction is Dale Jarrett.
Three'sCompanyrules 05-19-2004, 03:15 PM Great race at Richmond this last weekend. I am really happy to see Dale Jr. win again he seems to stuggle one week then the next week he will do good. I like the very tight points race but we will see what happens when the new rule takes affect. Tony Stewart still seems to be haveing anger problems, especialy directed at the Fox announce crew, and Jeff Gordon called him brain dead. I did like the new surface at Richmond it was time for a change and it made for great racing. Robby Gordon had another flat tire at the begenning of the race just like last year. There weren't to many big wrecks which was good, the worst one of the night was between Jamie McMurray and Joe Nemecheck.
Well the Nextell Challenge is this week formerly known as the Winston. It should be a great event and Jeff Ggordon will bring back his old Rainbow warriors paint scheme. My Nextell Cup Challenge prediction is: Ryan Newman as much as I hate to say that.
RustyShackleford 05-19-2004, 04:35 PM The All Star challenge is one of my favorite races of the year, its just the night time, different paint schemes, and no points i just love this race,
All Star prediction: Jimmie Johnson
edog20716 05-19-2004, 04:58 PM Dude , I come on this site to find oout the scoop on new t.v shows maybe some summer flicks and what do I find ???? NASCAR talk????? what's the deal don't they have sites dedicated to "Left Turn Only Road Rage". People talking about playing their video games while watching NASCAR what nextare you guys gonna dress up in your D&D out fits and stand in line at some midnight screning of Return of the King. NASCAR is nothing more then an excuse for countrified tree shade mechcanics geeks to gather in one place and talk about urinating on Chevys ,Fords, or Dodge. The Sopranoes make good t.v drama Nascar make good zzzzzzzzzzzz. if you want Nascar t.v tune in to .The new Simple life with your girl Paris Hilton I'll bet money all of you have the video of her too!!!! And guess what Paris and Nicole will be driving a truck and pulling a trailor and wearing tight little outfits
like your heroines Daisy Mae and Daisey Duke ohhhhhh
NACAR that ain't a sport just a waste of time and gas
but with all that beer flowing through the stands I bet if they could find a way to convert beer farts into petro we might have lower prices at the pumps
edog20716 05-19-2004, 05:12 PM Well, seems I might have to eat crow. Never let it be said edog20716 is an elitest. Looks like I stumbled on to a board which is about "sports" and thinking that was on a T.V board I went bullistic.
my apologies
RustyShackleford 05-24-2004, 01:19 AM The Nextel All-Star Challange was great, awesome racing, im glad Kenseth beat Newman, the Nextel Open first lap crash was strange, its a shame they wouldnt let them use back up cars, Kurt Busch is horrible, taking out that many cars is dumb
Coca Cola 600 Prediction: Tony Stewart
Three'sCompanyrules 05-24-2004, 02:05 AM I agree Rustyshackleford, the Nextel all-star challenge was awesome, and I am aslo glad Kenseth beat Newman if Ryan won that would have ruined a good night, alot of great racing and that send groove was really working. The wreck in the Nextel open was strange I didn't even see smoke come from Casey Mears's car very odd. Kurt Busch is a big time idiot he should know you don't bump draft at Lowes, that only really works at Daytona and Talladega, and not to mention he wrecked lots of good race cars. Overall a good race though!
My Coca Cola 600 prediction is: Jeff Burton
Three'sCompanyrules 05-31-2004, 02:12 PM Wow Jimmie Johnson sure had a dominating car he was definatly hard to catch. Its good to see Micheal Waltrip finish 2nd and its good to see Elliot Sadler and others do well to. I never did catch what happend to Jeff Gordon, although according to DW and the guy she did the same thing Dale Jr. did at Las Vegas and just completley missed the set up. Overall it was an ok race although I wish it was a more competitive race.
Next they are at Dover which should be a good race. My Dover prediction is: Tony Stewart
RustyShackleford 05-31-2004, 10:42 PM Yea, last week i was making my prediction something was telling me to pick Jimmie, but i made my choice should have went with my feeling, Michael was great, want him to win so bad, i think hes on his way back, heart breaker was for Mark Martin. That poor guy needs a break but to have it quit like that was bad.
Dover Prediction: Bobby Labonte
RustyShackleford 06-06-2004, 06:12 PM It is absolutely awesome to see Mark Martin win it today he need one, it was a great but also strange race every leader ended up wrecked, poor Jimmie and Kasey. Matt Kenseth was right NASCAR should have thrown the caution with the oil from Mears. Scott Riggs had a great run today, and it was pretty sad to see the fans cheering when Jeff Gordon wrecked, thats just distasteful.
Pocono Prediction: Tony Stewart
Three'sCompanyrules 06-06-2004, 06:19 PM Wow what a wild race today Kurt Busch caused the first crash of the day  then Jeff Gordon hits the wall adn then the big one at Dover an 19 car pile wiped out alot of the top contenders, the the heart break for Kasey Kahne who I thought would win the race got spun out in Casey Mears oil, for a somewhat of a boaring race early its sure turned into an exciting one at the end of the race. I am real happy to see Mark Martin he is nice guy who deserves to win also good runs today for Jeff Burton (4th) Scott Riggs (5th) Micheal Waltrip (6th) and Terry Labonte (7th). I am also glad to see Dale Jr. come back from a disappointing run and now has opend his points lead to 98 points over Jimmie Johnson!!!!!!!!! :) Overall a real good race from the middle to the end of the race!
Next week the race is at Pocono, which is always an interesting track, my Pocono prediction is: Ricky Rudd
RustyShackleford 06-13-2004, 09:13 PM I dont know about todays race, the rules keep changing its getting annoying they just need to take a couple of days and iron some of these things out i think, I wonder how things are gonna play out between Kenseth and Harvick , will they be fined? will they lose points? and those rowdy fans again with there trash throwing, at least they caught the guy this time.
Michigan Prediction: Jeremy Mayfield
Three'sCompanyrules 06-14-2004, 03:57 PM I agree about the changing rules thing that was really odd. As far as the race goes it wasn't to exciting of a race this time until the end I was really hopeing the Jeremy Mayfield would win there at the end until the caution came out. The fans throwing things on the track was ridicoulas, they had already passed the red flag part of the race, and I am glad they caught the guy who hit the flag man with his cooler. The accidnet between Rusty Wallace and Micheal Waltrip looked bad and I'm glad they are ok, Micheal was pretty upset about it though.
I have a feeling that Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth will get fined and possible probation, which is nothing new for Harvick, but I was suprised how Matt reacted to that, he always seems calm, although he was also upset last week after he crashed and then what Harvick did to him yesterday Ii don't blame him.
Next week there off to Michigan which will either be dominated by somebody like Dale Jarret did a few years ago or it will be a very exciting race. My Michigan prediction is: Kasey Kahne
Three'sCompanyrules 06-23-2004, 11:51 PM This weeks race was better then the last few weeks, but atleast Nascar didn't have any major problems this time, although I think they should have a green white checkered finished if a caution comes out om the second to last lap. Kasey Kahne was so close again to winning and yet another 2nd place finish for him.
Next weeks race is going to be at infenion raceway the first road course race of the year. My two favorite kinds of racing are short tracks, Super speedways, and road courses, should be another good race this weekend.
My Sonoma prediction is: Robby Gordon
RustyShackleford 06-27-2004, 11:43 PM Well the race today was predictable Gordon dominated the whole weekend everything went right for him the whole time, Im glad Jamie McMurray came in 2nd and Scott Pruett in 3rd, so great run for the Ganassi cars, Stewart and Vickers had a post race altercation im sure there will be fines and etc. for them
Pepsi 400 Prediction: Michael Waltrip, DEI at Daytona. enough said
Three'sCompanyrules 06-28-2004, 01:31 AM I agree Rustyshackleford, todays race was predictable which didn't make an exciting race in my opinion but some of the other racing was good behind Jeff. I didn't see the Tony Stewert and Brian Vickers thing, how did that start? Robby Gordon had all sorts of tire problems, he was really mad at his crew and I don't blame him. I also thought the smothers brothers in the booth was odd especialy the one who didn't seem to know what he was talking about I could tell Darrel Waltrip was ancy to get off that segment.
The Pepsi 400 should be a great race Greg Biffle suprised everyone a year ago when he won the race.
My Pepsi 400 prediction is: Dale Jr.
RustyShackleford 07-04-2004, 12:42 AM Good race tonight , Hendrick Motorsports was really workin it tonight all 4 cars we at the front almost all night, someone finally beat DEI , No real "Big One" tonight which is cool, FOX did great thier half of the year now NBC's take over. they'll do good.
Chicagoland Prediction: Jimmie Johnson
Three'sCompanyrules 07-07-2004, 03:08 PM I thought the race was pretty good last week, thank goodness there was no real big one. It looks to me that Hendrick motorsports may have caught up to DEI on the restrictor plate tracks. On a side note I was glad to see Mike Wallace win then Busch series race on Friday night, he is goo din the Busch series and Truck series but for some reason he struggles in the Cup series. I'm sad to see Fox go for the rest of the year, because I like them better then NBC's coverage, but I do like BP so it should be a fun second half of the Nascar seaseon.
My Chicagoland prediction is: Kevin Harvick
RustyShackleford 07-11-2004, 10:23 PM Good race, the big story of today has to be Stewart/Kahne incident, Im not real sure what happened did Kahne check up and Stewart hit him by acciident? or did Stewart hit him with intention? what do you think, and how about the crews getting in to it that was wild. Off weekend next week
New England 300 Prediction: Bobby Labonte
Three'sCompanyrules 07-16-2004, 04:43 PM I thought the race last week was a good one, I was disappointed in how Dale Jr. keeps struggleing on the big tracks. It was hard to tell about Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne and how that happend, although I think Tony deliberatly got in to John Andretti earlier in the race. Tommy Baldwin got fined and put on probation no suprise there but I don't think anyone from Tony's crew is in trouble. This is a boaring weekend with no race.
I like the New Hampshire race, and my loudon prediction is: Joe Nemecheck
RustyShackleford 07-26-2004, 12:15 AM Today's race was one of the most boring ive ever seen, only 3 diffrent leaders. Many cars crashed I couldnt believe how hard the cars were hitting today some went kinda airborne I noticed.
Pocono Prediction: Tony Stewart
Three'sCompanyrules 07-29-2004, 05:10 PM I didn't get to see all of the race this weekend but I caught the final 100 laps and what I saw was a boaring race with some scary wrecks, but I'm glad everone was ok. Dale Jr. went more laps then he thought he would race and is going to try and race all 200 laps at Pocono, so good luck to him.
Pocono is usualy a good race, so this week should be fun.
My Pocono prediction is: Bobby Labonte
RustyShackleford 08-01-2004, 05:41 PM Good race today, Pocono took out alot of cars mechanically with engine problems and it took out alot of the top 10 in points. Terry Labonte ran good today Im glad Jimmie won and thats good.
Brickyard 400 Prediction: Kevin Harvick, lets make it 2 in a row.
Three'sCompanyrules 08-03-2004, 03:31 PM The race was pretty good this past week, once again jimmie Johnson dominated the race, nad swept both Pocono races. There were some scary looking crashes mainly Jeff Burton and Bobby Labonte's wreck. Mark Martin and Terry Labonte had good races which is nice to see and Dale Jr. still continues to struggle with his burns that he suffered at Sonoma. Next week is the Brickyard 400 maybe the second most important race to the drivers other then the Daytona 500.
My Indy prediction is: Dale Jarrett
Three'sCompanyrules 08-12-2004, 03:05 AM Well the Brickyard 400 wasn't real exciting in my opinion Jeff Gordon was really dominent and there weren't many lead changes like I would of wanted. There were way to many cautions and hard wrecks again, I'm glad everyone is ok.
Next week should be a good race at Watkins Glenn, which has a slight advantage over Sonoma as my favorite road course. I really like road course racing so this should be fun.
My Watkins Glenn prediction is Mark Martin
RustyShackleford 08-15-2004, 11:36 PM The Glen was good today, I was pullin for Ron Fellows in the end he is really good, Casey Mears had a good run would have been cool to see him win and Johnson and Gordon had trouble today too.
Michigan Prediction:Ryan Newman
Three'sCompanyrules 08-18-2004, 03:49 PM I thought the race was pretty good this past weekend, there were alot of stratagies that played out and I thought Brendon Gaughn or Casey Mears could have won it they all had great runs good to see Mark Martin have another good run. Tony Stewart had the dominant car all day and did pretty good for not feeling very well. Lots of people had engine or gear problems.
Next race is Michigan which should be a good race.
My Michigan prediction is Jimmie Johnson
Three'sCompanyrules 08-22-2004, 10:56 PM Good race this week, I am glad to see Greg Biffle win even though I was pulling for Mark Martin or Dale Jarrett to win. It was odd to see that Jimmie Johnson had motor trouble for a 3rd week in a row and now that gives Jeff Gordon the points lead. Kurt Busch and Kasey Kahne did well after there spins, overall I thought it was a real good race.
Next week is the Bristol night race my favorite race of the year. I love short track raceing the best especialy at Bristol, next week should be fun!!!
My Bristol prediction is Dale Jr.
RustyShackleford 08-28-2004, 11:11 PM Good race tonight, Bristol always puts on a great show. poor Mark Martin made that crazy mistake, Jeff Burton ran well tonight in his new car. good to see Jr in victory lane again.
Fontana Prediction: Jimmie Johnson
Three'sCompanyrules 09-04-2004, 03:38 AM Very good race last week at Bristol and I am so happy that Dale Jr. won, he had the most dominating car that night!! Also it was a huge boost to him and his crew. I was also suprised by the long green glag runs at Bristol, usualy its a caution fest, but I'm glad there was a cleaner race in the second race. Its to bad about Mark Martin he was strong early and then for a second week in a row he had a pit miscue, and Jeff Burton seems to be doing mutch better in the Richard Childress AOL chevy, and I think he can win a race this year in that car.
This weeks race is in California, maybe its just me but I'm not to thrilled about a second race at Fontana, its a real shame that they got rid of Rockingham and 1 Darlington race, I ithought those tracks had great racing and I am suprised not to many people showed up.
My Fontana prediction is: as much as I hate to say it Kurt Busch
RustyShackleford 09-05-2004, 11:32 PM Oh man! that was a great race under the lights at California. It looks great under the lights. Kahne once agian 2nd, poor kid. I believe Mark Martin was awesome that last caution messed him up, he had it tonight. This "Chase for the Cup" is looking good next week is the last race for it.
Richmond Prediction: Dale Jr
Three'sCompanyrules 09-08-2004, 01:04 AM I agree Rustyshackleford the race under the lights at California was awesome, it was definatly much better then I thought it would be and the racing was great. Yet another 2nd place finish for Kasey Kahne, even though its disappointing for him I'm sure he will win a lot of races in his career, also another good run for Mark Martin I hope he makes it in the chase for the championship! This chase for the championship is going to be fun, should make these last 10 races very interesting I can't wait to see what happens! I also can't wait for this weeks race at Richmond another one of my favorite tracks it should be awesome again under the lights!
My Richmond prediction is tough I want to go with Dale Jr. or Tony Stewart, but I will go with a suprise pick Terry Labonte.
Three'sCompanyrules 09-15-2004, 03:56 AM The race at Richmond was awesome! Its great to see Jeremy Mayfield back in victory lane! Now with the 10 drivers set to battle for the first ever Nextell cup these next 10 races will be awesome and interesting at the same time!
Out of the 10 drivers competeing for the chase for the cup
Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart, Elliot Sadler, Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman, Mark Martin, Jeremy Mayfield and Kurt Busch, who do you think has the best shot of them to win it and who do you want to win it?
I want Dale Jr. or Mark Martin to win it but I think Jimmie Johnson maybe the favorite to win it all this year. What are your thoughts?
Next Weeks race is in New Hampshire, which should be a good race. My Loudon prediction is Jeff Gordon
RustyShackleford 09-15-2004, 12:59 PM Well since my favorites arent in the top 10 I think it would be cool if Mark Martin won it he has been runner-up so many times, he deserves it he is a great driver and i think he is most deserving of it.
Loudon Prediction: im going to go with Tony Stewart
Three'sCompanyrules 09-25-2004, 02:19 PM Last weeks race was pretty good, although I didn't like Kurt Busch winning. I think the fall loudon race was better then the spring race there it seemed like there were more lead changes. I must say what an interesting start to the chase for the championship, so these last few races should be very fun to watch!
Tomorrow's race is at Dover which should be a fun race to watch, especialy with the chase for the championship in place, I hope for very exciting racing and I think there will be!
My Dover prediction is: Dale Jr.
Three'sCompanyrules 10-03-2004, 06:33 PM Wow, what an exciting race at Talladega!!! The racing was great and there was no big one there was a 5 car incident in the middle of the race and the wrecks at the end Elliot Sadler had another flip over but not as bad as the tumble he took last year. I don't know the official number but I believe there was over 40 lead changes which made the race real exciting, by far the best race of the year in my opinion!!! Congratulations to Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the win, and something tells me the race for the championship will be between Dale Jr., Jeff Gordon and Kurt Busch, especialy after Jimmie Johnson's troubles.
Next week the race is at Kansas close to me, I hope I can go to that race in the near future! My Kansas prediction is: Mark Martin
RustyShackleford 10-03-2004, 06:44 PM Indeed a great race today, lots of lead changes , the top 10 didnt get shook up to bad, DEI rules at these plate tracks
Kansas Prediction: Jimmie Johnson
Three'sCompanyrules 10-13-2004, 10:05 PM I thought the Kansas race was a very good race with a very exciting finish. I'm glad to see Joe Nemecheck back in victory lane! I'm also glad to see Ricky Rudd run real well, and I hope he will run well in last few races of the year! No major changes in the race for the nextell cup, but I sure as heck hope Kurt Busch does not win it, or I will be mad  . Overall I thought that the Kansas race was pretty good.
This weeks race is at Lowe's motor speedway, that should be a good race. My Lowe's prediction is: Jamie McMurray
Three'sCompanyrules 10-24-2004, 02:29 AM The race at Lowes was a good race alot more cautions then I thought there would be. Brian Vickers sure took a hard hit glad to see he was ok. I'm suprised how Jeff Gordon was able to bounce back after his mini crash with Rusty. Overall I thought the race was a good one.
This weeks race is at Martinsville which should be a very good race and could have a major impact on the Chase for the Champinionship it should be fun to watch!
My Martinsville prediction is: Dale Earnhardt Jr.
RustyShackleford 10-24-2004, 08:31 PM the race was good today, 2 in a row for Jimmie, Dale Jr had more trouble today wich is bad wits this chase for the cup, and the sad news about Hendrick family kinda overshadowed Jimmie's win :(
Atlanta Prediction: Tony Stewart
Three'sCompanyrules 11-10-2004, 01:17 AM A great race at Pheonix this week! I'm glad to see Dale Jr. bounce back after two bad races and now the race for the Nextell cup is turning out it looks like it will come down to the wire! I just hope Kurt Busch will struggle in these last 3 races, so Dale Jr. or someone else can win the first ever Nextel cup!
My Darlington prediction is Bobby Labonte
RustyShackleford 11-21-2004, 07:16 PM Well, its over for this year, I must say I like the chase for the cup format its proved itself, I hope they bring it back for next year for 2005 even thought the wrong person won it this year  but it was a good race great 2004 season and can't wait until next year February in Daytona. Three'sCompanyrules, its been great getting your opinion of the races and reading what you have to say :) hope to do it again next year
Three'sCompanyrules 11-22-2004, 06:14 AM Hey Rustyshackleford, it was great hearing your thoughts and opinions about the races to, :) It was a great season and I to like the new format to determine a champion, even though I don't like this years champion and I was hoping somehow Dale Jr. or Mark Martin could have done better to win it all! I hope to keep discussing Nascar with you next season and the off season to!
Today's race was a good one lots of excitment I'm glad to see that Dale Jarret ran well before he ran out of gas, and Kasey Kahne continues to have no luck this year but I think he will win alot of races next year and be a contender for the Nextel cup in 2005.
Even though I to am mad that Kurt Busch won the championship  I must give his crew credit because they got him out of difficult situations toward the end, especialy today if that tire problem was any worse Jimmie Johnson would be the champion. Also cangratulations to Greg Biffle for winning the race today he maybe another contender next year!
Well about 2 months until the Daytona 500!!! I can't wait and hopefully another DEI repeat!
Three'sCompanyrules 02-12-2005, 03:37 PM NASCAR'S back!
Tonight is the Bud Shootout! Should be a great race and a look at how some of the best drivers will do! Should be a great race!
My Bud Shootout prediction is: Dale Jarrett
MaydayMalonesGirl 02-12-2005, 05:49 PM I'm seeing a Nascar race down in Delaware for the first time in June. I've been to the pocono races about 7 times, so going to a new track will be nice.
I'm not much for watching it on tv, but actually going to the races is always fun.
RustyShackleford 02-12-2005, 08:29 PM Its been a long off-season im ready for 05, Bud Shootout is going to be great, its going to be great just to see the cars on the track again.
Bud Shootout Pred.: Mark Martin
Seinatra 02-13-2005, 12:41 AM I really think Jimmie Johnson is going to win it. Ignore the post time of this message. :D
RustyShackleford 02-21-2005, 04:27 PM The Daytona 500 was great, I thought Jr was gonna pull it off there late in the game, It was a good race I wanted Mark to win because it was his last but. California next week it should be good.
California Prediction: Jimmie Johnson
Three'sCompanyrules 02-21-2005, 06:35 PM I agree it was a very good race, I to thought Dale Jr. was going to win it in the end but give Jeff Gordon credit he made a good move there at the end. I to wanted to see Rusty or Mark win if Dale Jr. couldn't have won it, but they did have pretty good finishes. Also there wasn't a major big one which is good although Scott Wimmers wreck was scary glad to see he is ok.
California should be a good race, although I am not a big fan of two races there though I am really going to miss the two Rockingham and Darlington races.
My California prediction is: Mark Martin
musicradio77 02-25-2005, 02:11 PM I've heard NASCAR last weekend that it was aired only on WRWD. They don't carried NASCAR on WGHQ anymore because of a format change back in late November which it becomes News Talk 920 WGHQ formerly ran the standards format carried a satellite feed of the "Music of Your Life". I was so sad that they don't ran NASCAR on WGHQ anymore.:( The fact is that WRWD carried only NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. I can't picked up the station because I'm in the Kingston area hearing some distant crumming terrible signal. All I can do is watch NASCAR on TV if I can program it on my DVR.
