It's hard to say as we don't even know what brand car he supposedly sold to Janet either. The only cars on the show that we hear of are the Roper's 1958 rusted old Chevy that Stanley tries to sell to the kids.

And when Mr. Furley introduces himself to Lana he says that he's an owner of a Porsche.

Isn't Larry's car in the shop all the time?

I think viewers were supposed to assume that Larry borrowed a car from his work.

My sister-in-law used to work for a Ford dealership. She had a different vehicle every other month.

I think he drove a beat up car. I think Larry was neither obsessed nor enamored with automobiles. Selling cars was just a job.
