It was CBS that aired the series! [1979-'80]

ABC only showed the movies on their various movie showcases in the '70s and '80s.

CBS did, in fact, air this show.

The character of "Dr. Emily Rappant" was played by Catherine Hicks, who later starred as Annie Camden on "7th Heaven".
