Yesterday I got Elton John's 1988 album Reg Strikes Back and it's a cool album that could easily have become a dance-pop album. I first discovered this album when I heard the cool single I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That and based on liking that song I checked out Reg Strikes Back and found a great album. Was this album one of Elton John's most successful albums of the 80's. And what is the meaning behind all the hats on the album cover? Do the hats refer to places on Elton's tours?

I think that with Reg Strikes Back Elton John was trying out the dance-pop genre and he thought it would suit him best. Of course my favorite song of this album is I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That because that's the song that could've been a dance pop single in the dance-pop charts in the 80's. I have about four Elton John albums and my mom has Elton's 1992 album The One and one of his greatest hits albums. But i'm still trying to figure out the meaning behind all those hats on the album cover. Is there a true meaning?
