I had been tied up for a while and finally replaced one of my dvd burners that was ruined in a flood in the basement.
I had been watching Crackle TV a while back and they were airing some pretty good and rare series:

Adventures of the Seaspray
Bob & Carol and Ted & Alice
Cassie & Co.
Grady
Girl with Something Extra
Jeannie(cartoon)
Partridge Family: 2200 A.D.
Salvage 1
The Rookies

When I went back to finally try and record, especially the first 7 on the list. They were all taken off. I remember there being a few other rare ones, but can not remember the names.

Anyone know why they removed the shows? What's on now is pretty common.
And did anyone record the shows while they aired?

According to a source, on August 1st, 2023, about 100 series got removed from Crackle. It was sudden, and nobody knows exactly why.

This seems to have been done for a reason since it was on the first of the month. It's probably like Netflix. Licensing. Sony doesn't own Crackle anymore. The contract for the license possibly expired.

Someone gave me an e-mail and said he could send me the 10 episodes of Grady that might be from Crackle. If you are trading, I could give you them.

At one point I was watching more shows on Crackle than any other streaming service. Currently the only thing that I watch on there is The Big Interview with Dan Rather.

Big Day was another one that got pulled, they did that a couple of years ago when I was in the middle of watching it(it included the unaired episode too) thankfully someone grabbed and put it on TV Vault(which also has some episodes of Seaspray though those rips aren't from Crackle) before it got taken down, same with the FX miniseries "Thief".
