While Young Sheldon is a lighthearted family comedy, sometimes it tends to be surprisingly sad, especially as the Coopers go through life's hardships.

My most favorite moment out of what is addressed in the write up is when Mrs. Cooper grew scared for her family's safety after hearing about the girl who dies in a car accident in an early season two episode. I love how Sheldon is the one who brings her back to the Lord.
