Wendie Malick guest starred as Julianne in an episode of the first season of Night Court, but the actress should reprise her role in season 2 in 2024.

I am happy to report that Julianne returned in the episode I attended last month! The episode has not yet been announced but it's "The Wrath of Comic-Con" and should be airing sometime in the next month or so.

Fantastic! Did they tell you what number episode it was of season?

They did not give a specific episode number since they sometimes move episodes around, but Nyambi Nyambi (the new clerk, Wyatt, who is making his first appearance in the January 16th episode) was still introducing himself as "new here" in one of the scenes so I would expect it to air by early next month. Jessica St. Clair is the other guest star for that episode, playing an old friend of Abby Stone who comes to visit.
(Side note- when I attended on December 22nd they had not yet announced publicly that Kapil Talwalkar was not coming back for season 2, but we obviously noticed he was missing during the initial cast introduction and a new court clerk was now in the cast. I didn't watch Mike & Molly so I wasn't familiar with the replacement, Nyambi Nyambi, but I thought he fit in well with the rest of the cast and he's obviously got experience with a long-running sitcom so hopefully that bodes well.)

Thanks for that update. Really looking forward to that. The show is really starting to work. This weeks episode was one of my favorites.
