I know there is talk about those MIA in recent times, but New Members???? One would think with so many members here you would be directing your friends here, No??????

I don't direct my friends here as we and they are into more diversity, topics of today's world.....

I see a variety of topics. We just no longer have a political section.

There have been 1,093 new registrations this year. 151 of those members have made at least one post. Not everyone who posts visits the Chit Chat section, so you probably wouldn't even notice them.

Unfortunately many people who register never make any effort to post anything. 40,333 out of the 72,978 registered members have never posted. We have many lurkers and guests.

Yes, it was Dude and during the high point of covid and I was scrambling to find a good home to vent and rant and didn't realize how limited it is here...it's been a journey for sure and I need and want a home group that I can talk about all that makes the world spin as it is.

Yep, it's true I spend most time here on chit chat and games and occasional stuff about industry deaths but today's stuff is unappealing to me, I do miss the good ole times. Today's music is gross and the ole timers are now gone or close to being gone.

And TJ you can't say I haven't posted a huge amount of topics in chit chat and I can't control who replies or just ignores my info. Life is so much more than a Sitcom although I wonder about that too.

Somehow you are still here almost three years later. You've kind of made it part of your daily routine and one of the places you visit. I guess you haven't got bored enough to leave.

You got plenty of venting and ranting in during that time. Maybe some people will move on and go about their lives at some point.

Some members don't post in Chit Chat. I know I didn't in my first several years. I had/have more of an interest in Sitcoms and other TV than in Chit Chat.

At the bottom of the main message boards page, there are often new members shown.

I hear you stevea, and for me I post in many areas and glad for pick and choose topics..to be just sitcom, I can't imagine that for my mind,.and life's adventures.

Just thinking I'd have many more posts if I was "in love" with hollywood which is up the street from me and I could even have walked up there in my good walking days. I've had a great life in CA despite not loving the hollywood world. I have enjoyed a lot of it but not like so many here....If one is looking for multipe partners and marriages, come to hollywood.

alt" and the alt was nasty and got reported. I suspected it was someone and it was verified it was. Not sure if the person is here still but yeah alt will often be known.

When I was in my early 20's, I had two "Friends," on here, Bart Smith and Mary Charle. :crazy::lol: Bart Smith, Mary Charle and I would all "talk," to each other. :crazy::lol: I don't know how Bart Smith got caught as my "Friend," but Mary Charle got caught when I accidentally logged in as Mary Charle in the same place I logged in as Janice Johnson! :lol::crazy: I quickly logged back out as Mary Charle and logged back in as Janice Johnson, thinking something like,"Maybe since I only logged in as Mary Charle for only about a minute and didn't post, maybe the Admins won't see that I logged in as Mary Charle on this computer! :lol::crazy:

An Admin said something like,"Janice Johnson, are you Mary Charle?" I answered something like,"Yes, I am." The Admin said something like," Thank you for your honesty. I noticed that you logged in as Mary Charle and as Janice Johnson from the same computer. We Admins have a way of knowing where Members log into from. We do not allow Alternate Accounts on here.
