I have never figured out why Home Alone 3 was even made. Because they should've just made Home Alone and Home Alone 2 Lost In New York. When I heard about Home Alone 3 I found it odd that they would replace Kevin McAllister with Alex Pruitt and make a new storyline for Home Alone. Why I think in my eyes why Home Alone 3 was made was to make newcomer Alex D. Linz a huge star but I think it failed because it lacked the story that the previous movies had. Was Home Alone 3 a flop in theaters?

Basically they wanted Macaulay Culkin to reprise Kevin McCallister as a teen, but he declined at the time as he was frustrated with acting. They then decided to go with a whole new cast and script.

It grossed $79M on a $32M budget.

It would have been much better with him!!!!!!
