I was just looking at the Access Golden Girls website, and I saw a note saying that Betty White would be on the Tuesday, September 17 show of Larry King Live.

However, when I go to www.cnn.com/larrykinglive , I can find no mention of her there.

Is it a rerun? Will it air later in the week? I want to see her and get the low-down!:D

Hi jayman. The information was given to me by a friend who is in Betty White's Official Fan Club. Apparently a newsletter was sent out a few weeks ago and the information concerning her appearance was in that. A few websites have since carried that information. She will be appearing with Ad Asner (Mary Tyler Moore Show). I have just checked out the LKL website and, as you rightly said, there's no mention of Betty appearing. I'll have a bit of an ask around to see if I can't find out what the score is and I'll get back to you. I'll be very disappointed if it has been cancelled for some reason :(

Yep, that's what the latest Bets Pets newsletter said. It came out a few weeks ago, but usually Kay e-mails everyone if something like that changes and I haven't heard anything from her, so she's still on to the best of my knowledge.

He usually has more than one guest on, doesn't he? I only see mention of the talk about the royal family, but Betty might be like the second guest or something (and just not "featured"). I would think it would be on the site tomorrow.

I heard about this too, and as a Mary Tyler Moore fan, I'm just as anxious as the rest of you! I can tell you that Larry has a habit of revamping his schedule if some major news story happens, but he usually has the people on that he was supposed to, just a few days later. It's early in the week. All is not lost. LOL. The best thing I can tell you is to keep checking Larry's site. Unfortunately he doesn't post who's going to be on past a day in advance.

Yeah, usually Larry has a few guests on. I can't see how they could talk about the Royal Family for 60 minutes really or who would be there to represent them. Like you said, Kay hasn't e-mailed anyone to let them know the schedule has changed so I'll be there, at 2am with several cups of coffee, lol, waiting for it to start :)

I somewhat missed it, I turned it on for a few minutes while waiting for The Munsters, and it was a show on the Royal family. So, I changed the channel, I'm betting she wasn't on, and probably rescheduled.

I just looked at Larry King's website and it looks like it's either this weekend or Tuesday. I'll keep you posted!
