My mom didn't know what to get me for Christmas, so I told her to order the complete series of The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet on DVD from Amazon. It was released on December 19th, and with a Prime membership, I'd get it on time. Well, I haven't received it yet (I'm having it shipped to my house with the intention of wrapping it and putting it under my tree and not opening it until we all open our gifts). Then just a few hours ago, I got a notification that the DVD box set is "Now Arriving on January 3rd". So, AFTER Christmas. It's not a big deal. I can wait. But still.

I just had a Christmas miracle. An Amazon driver just dropped off my complete series of Ozzie & Harriet DVD boxset! Just in time for my Christmas party, too. I just quickly wrapped it and will open it when we all open our gifts tonight.
I'll be marathoning every Christmas episode of this 1950s classic (which I've not seen too much of) tonight.

Seasons 10-14 are the best, then work back from season 9. Just my opinion, of course.

Okay. Thanks for the advice. :)

Adamantium, I'm glad you received your box set in time for Christmas. Did you have a favorite Christmas episode? I liked them all, but "The Lost Christmas Gift" is mine. Those little kids are so cute and I like the idea of everybody coming together to help a struggling family.

I think it sucks that they made us buy all the seasons individually, then throw out a box set with extras.

The extras were all in the O&H set from Time-Life (at least, they were in the larger set). If that weren't the case, I'd be crying foul, too.
