TCM have released their in memoriam video of the many talented entertainers we have lost over the past year. I feel they should wait a week before releasing it, because there always seems to be a group of famous faces fading out in the week between Christmas and New Year. This year the montage is set to Christina Perri's haunting version of Tom Petty's Learning to Fly. I won't lie... I choked up numerous times... :(

This new thread was about to be buried by the barrage of a return of very old threads, so I'll bump it up. Highly annoying to have the forum undergo such an unnecessary thing and it happens frequently.

^True. It's a shame, as the TCM Remembers video for this year is perhaps the most beautiful and heart-breaking one they've done yet...

I realized TCM did leave out at least one person, Lara Parker, who died in October.

Athough mostly associated with her role of Angelique on the gothic soap opera Dark Shadows as well as many appearances in episodic television throughout the 70s & 80s, she did appear in the theatrical release Night of Dark Shadows. She also starred opposite Robert DeNiro in one of his first movies, Hi, Mom in 1970. She was in the Oscar-winning film Save the Tiger with Jack Lemmon and was Peter Fonda's wife in 1975's Race the Devil.

I realize TCM is focused on films, but Lara certainly qualified to be on the list.
