I think they all changed, including Mike. In the early years Mike donned the long haired "slacker" hippy look, but in the later seasons *at least in season 8* Mike became really clean cut...I also think he softened a LITTLE, he wasn't quite as aggressive toward Archie, I think he had learned how to deal with Archie a little better toward the end.

Edith starts out as more serious and deadpan, she becomes goofy and giggly, then toward the end, she stands up to Archie more and has a little but of a "spazz" side lol

Archie totally softened up... I think Joey and Stephanie brought out a softer side to Archie, he always seemed to be happiest when he was around them
