I believe this is the NBC Truth of Veronica's Closet. They hated the show! Here are some clues:

~22 episodes per season
~Pulled from Thursday, put on dreaded Monday

Those are the biggest clues of all! We all know how all NBC shows do on Monday. 'Daddio' went to number 16 on Thursday, 102 on Monday. 'Tucker' went to numbe 104. Suddenly Susan went to number 4 on Thursday, 104 on Monday. And, even though Veronica's Closet got 1 of the highest ratings ever on Monday, it sadly went to number 82. That must mean it had a strong fanbase. But, Veronica's Closet went from being one of NBC's highest shows, to being of the the lowest.

Why did NBC want to see it fail so badly, is my question? They were rolling in the moola from it! It's a darn shame.

I think one of the problems was that NBC had way too many sitcoms and didn't know where to put them, another thing is that Veronica's Closet's ratings were slightly slipping on Thurs. too. I bet NBC had some grudge against the show though.

I recall from an article, and I unfortunately don't remember what paper or when, that NBC was bragging about the cancellation of both "Veronica" and "Susan" shortly after pulling the show. They definitely had a problem with it, and I think that the show was lucky to get a third season because there were talks of canceling it after the second season wrapped. But I don't care what NBC thinks -- I know it was a great show, and that's all that matters to me!

Veronica's Closet was cancelled because of the bad scripts and storylines they had during their last season. It is really tough to watch that last season because the show just wasn't funny anymore. That is another reason no other network picked it up. They also knew the show wasn't funny anymore.

I laughed hysterically at the 3rd season! My mom sat down w/ me and watched Veronica's Pefect Man (where Veronica's interest kept farting, and Olive dated a midget) and she laughed hysterically at the episode too. I had never seen her laugh so much. Besides from Friends and Drew Carey

Well, that is just my opinion. Other viewers did like the 3rd season however.

I don't think the scripts were that bad, but they certainly were nowhere near as good as their first and second season -- that's not hard to recognize. But I still thought the third season had its moments.

I have yet to see the 3rd season as it will start over here in the UK in January? Seasons 1 and 2 were good. I guess every series has it good and bad episodes.:)

I'm looking forward to the new season of VC very much. Are ITV going to show it again?? And are there any plans of re-runs, do you know?

I hope ITV treat VC better this year than they have before... there's no way they should put it on at about 2am on a Friday morning. Even Sky One did it more justice than that (but then it seemingly disappeared without a trace so... )

We shall see...

ITV will be showing series 3, from January 2003 probably. They have said they have the rights.

I dont think they will re-air series 1 and 2 as they have repeated them already. Good job i have them on tape anyway.:)

I think that NBC should have kept Veronica's Closet on the air, Yea maybe it only did get some good ratings because of it's time slot, but it was doing a lot better than Just Shoot Me and Good Morning Miami.
