It would be nice to see a reunion show. It would have to have Linda Kaye Henning and Lori Saunders of course. And one of the 2 surviving Billie Jo's could take over for Meredith. Mike Minor and June Lockhart are still around too. The last I know also is that Frank Cady (Sam Drucker) is still alive. It would be amazing to get him in it.

Both Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres had reunion shows and this show deserves one too while enough of the actors are still around. PJ is mentioned on alot of TV internet boards and there are even quite a few websites devoted to it so there are still alot of fans out there.

Without Bea Benaderet and Edgar Buchanan, a reunion show could not be done. The other characters we assume grew up to lead happy lives, so what more do you want? This is a case where it is better to remember Hooterville as it was. Also, the Green Acres and Beverly Hillbillies reunion shows were horrible!

Unfortunately, that is the case with many TV show reunions, especially good shows that were very popular in their original run. The problem is that the reunion show, while it does have most (or in most cases, some) of the main cast, the formula just can't come together if it takes place years later when you have a younger audience who can't identify with the comedy that the older audience could. It just can't live up to the original.

I agree that a reunion show would probably not be very good. Especially without Bea and Edgar. But I would like to see what the girls are like now. Also, I read the other day that not only is Sam Drucker still alive but so is Homer Bedloe! He is 90something!

I support a reunion show, if only to see the PJ gals.

Sam Drucker was the only Petticoat regular we got to see in a reunion show because he was also a Green Acres regular and appeared in their reunion movie. He was the still the same, just older. What was sad is that when they showed Sam Drucker's General Store it was on a regular street. What happened to the Cannonball? Apparently Homer Bedloe finally prevailed. So lets remember Hooterville as it was.

What I would like to see is a Paul Henning retrospective of all three shows with the surviving stars of each show reminicing about their respective shows. You know, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres, and The Beverly Hillbillies. Gunilla Hutton could take over as Billie Jo, then there's Linda Kaye Henning, Lori Saunders, Frank Cady, Charles Lane, Mike Minor, and June Lockhart, who are all still living. A retrospective show would be better than a movie because they could pay tribute to Bea Benederet, Byron Fougler, Smiley Brunette, Rufe Davis, Meradith McRae, and Edgar Buchanan.

And if they're doing a retrospective, they can always have on multiple actors who played the same role, like Billie Jo (Jeannine Riley, Gunilla Hutton) and Bobbie Jo (Pat Woodell, Lori Saunders). They did a "Real McCoys" retrospective for TNN a few years ago, why not one for the Paul Henning trilogy?

I agree Heidi a get together with the remaining stars reminising would be better. I thought Mary Tyler Moore's get together was nice. They could do something like that. This way the writers wouldn't get blame for writing a corny updated episode reunion show. Also you would gain new information about how the show was done. Gee Charles Lane still alive? I get a kick of out the episode in I love Lucy where sleepy Lucy is getting her passport and Fred pulls the clock plug.

I thought I'd read on IMDB that Charles Lane died in Sept. 1998, but I just checked there, and there's no death date listed for him, so maybe I read something in error before.
It may be difficult for Linda Kaye Henning and Mike Minor to appear together, since they've been divorced for the last thirty years or so. After PJ left the air in 1970, Mike appeared in the last three episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies as an unemployed actor who was trying to marry Elly May for her millions. I heard from a friend, and read in IMDB, that Mike is the son of My Three Sons and Family Affair producer Don Fedderson, so both he and Linda Kaye should be pretty well-off financially now. :)

It would be great but there aren't many cast members left.
