Are you familiar with the DC Comic character Superboy? I'm not talking about Jon Kent, the son of Superman. Nor am I talking about the version of the story (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf7gLkRF7CI) in which Clark Kent put on the suit and started flying around saving people while he was still a teenager in Smallville. I'm talking about Kon-el a.k.a. Conner Kent - the clone built with 50% of Superman's DNA and 50% of Lex Luthor's DNA. This character was created in 1993, around the time Superman came back to life after being killed by Doomsday. You might have seen this character on Young Justice or Titans.

And you probably are familiar with the WB/CW TV show Smallville, which ran from 2001 through 2011 and was mainly about teenage Clark Kent (played by Tom Welling) before he becomes Superman. The show also had actor Michael Rosenbaum playing a young Lex Luthor. Many people - myself included - think Michael Rosenbaum is the best actor to ever play Lex Luthor in live action.

Anyway, did you know that the character of Conner Kent / Superboy was on a few episodes of Season 10 of Smallville? He was played by three different actors (Jakob Davies, Connor Stanhope, and Lucas Grabeel). He went by the name "Alexander" before "Conner" on this show. The character of Tess Mercer (played by actress Cassidy Freeman) was a key part of the character's story here - as was Lionel Luthor (played by actor John Glover).
