In a new report released on Tuesday, Netflix shared the global viewership data for more than 18,000 titles on its service during the first half of 2023, which the company said represents 99% of all viewing on the streamer during that time.

What Netflix's data report doesn't say (https://www.inc.com/jason-aten/after-17-years-netflix-finally-did-something-it-should-have-done-all-along.html#:~:text=Still%2C%20it%20doesn't%20say,popularity%20of%20a%20given%20show.)

Still, it doesn't say anything about how many people are actually watching a given show. Netflix, which has been notorious for not sharing much data at all, says that "hours viewed" is the right metric because it's the best representation of the popularity of a given show.

If there is nothing funny going on, why not be
upfront about it and give the data in number of viewers?
