I don’t pay that much attention to the NFL (I am a college football fan) but know from Facebook that supposedly attendance is so dismal at Panthers games that tickets are being sold for $5 bucks with no takers. The stadium is empty and the apathy is very real.

Major sports leagues actually have a mechanism to “fire” owners and make them sell their teams. I think this is rare but there has to be something in place to discipline owners who have let their franchise go to rot. I don’t know if this is warranted here or not. I don’t think owning a sports team should be that difficult and being able to hire a coach who knows how the system works and being able to get the best players available.

The Carolina Panthers are a hot mess. Even glancing at them for a few seconds this season can show you that. However, going after a few low blows against an irrelevant and dead franchise is too easy. We have to go deeper (like a few inches deeper): We have to look at new owner David Tepper's reign.

It hasn't been good so far, but a lot of new owners take plenty of missteps. This is a crossroads for the organization. Will he right the ship? Or will he double down on his current way of doing things and continue to keep Carolina in the muck.

This is more a video to look back on in a few years to see if things have changed. Let's hope it does.

The Carolina Panthers are in hell. Not football hell, but actual hell. David Tepper is the ringmaster of this fiery circus. Since buying the team, his tenure has been a pure mess: A high-profile burning of money that would make corrupt nations envious. Tepper has been the alpha and omega of the organization, and it's to their detriment.

This past season was critical for Tepper to prove himself as a quality owner in the NFL: He failed miserably. This video is an explanation of his misdeeds in the recent past (and some a tad longer). Kiddie gloves off.
