The double episode from Season Two is available to watch on YouTube. Viv (Rue McClanahan) goes off to have a secret facelift and looks incredible, much to the chagrin of a jealous Maude (Bea Arthur), who then plans to have plastic surgery and surprise her husband Walter (Bill Macy).

This was pretty ahead of its time, as both Rue & Bea underwent plastic surgery in real life, something that people didn't talk about openly at the time in the early-70s. Maude's "reveal" is appropriately over-the-top, and hilarity ensues when Walter doesn't immediately notice Maude's new appearance. :lol:
