I have been seeing lots of hype about the remake of The Color Purple and it tells me that it's gonna be a huge hit. Is it because people hope it will be as good as the original 1984 version or is it because they have remade The Color Purple for a new generation? Is this version also a musical too? Because I know that there was a Broadway play of The Color Purple with Fantasia in it singing the signature song I'm Still Here. I have seen parts of the 1984 The Color Purple and I think this new remake will get high praise

I think the remake of The Color Purple will be a strong winner and be even better than the original 1984 movie. I have seen the original The Color Purple in parts and it's a wonderful movie. Let's hope the remake is the same

I also think this version of The Color Purple will be a contender in this year's Oscars and since it's a musical people will like it and I can bet The Color Purple will win an Oscar for Best Song because of the neat songs this version has
