I was amazed to discover all of the cartoon voice over work he did.

Ted Knight was a prolific voice over artist but he will always be remembered as Ted Baxter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Henry Rush on Too Close for Comfort. Happy 100th Birthday Ted!

He did have the perfect voice over / radio voice.

I do remember watching the cartoon- Journey to the center of the earth when I was a kid. That was the only cartoon I knew he di voice work for. Yet he did a Saturday Morning full of different cartoon.

Would have been interested to see Ted Baxter as a world reported in cartoon form. Could have mimicked Peabody and Sherman in showing different cultures and history.
