Television loves its holiday episodes, and that extends to various superhero shows over the years. Here are the 10 best to screen during the holidays.
Honorable Mention: Hawkeye
Like a lot of streaming series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hawkeye's plot deliberately encompasses all six episodes. That makes it difficult to single out any single one for mention. But the series as a whole makes for wonderful holiday fare, as Clint Barton picks up a new apprentice and thwarts the machinations of the Tracksuit Mafia while trying to make it back to the family in time for Christmas.
Disney clearly had a holiday evergreen in mind when executives greenlit Hawkeye, and may have gotten their wish by turning Barton into a de facto John McClane while finding an ideal successor in Kate Bishop. The show is also a fitting curtain call for one of the original Avengers, who stands front and center for the first time and quietly delivers one of the MCU's best streaming series in the bargain.
