Sean Gunn appeared in three episodes of Andy Richter Controls the Universe as the Phil half of Teak and Phil, Andy's young neighbors who practically worship him. He then got famous for being on Gilmore Girls, appearing in the MCU and being brother to James Gunn.

I met him at Galaxy Con a couple days ago and told him that I love the MCU but the main reason I wanted to meet him was because of my love of Andy Richter Controls the Universe. It was clear by the look on his face that no one had mentioned this show to him in a long time. At first, he had a blank expression and then he looked quite touched and proud that someone remembered and loved the old show. He told me he loved doing the show and was upset when it was cancelled. Also, if it had returned for a third season, they were going to add him as a regular. He also mentioned that was around the same time that Gilmore Girls was starting and so he wouldn't have been able to do that show if he stayed on this one.
