I'm glad John Ritter got the role as Jack Tripper and not Billy Crystal or Barry Van Dyke.

But the article also says that Michael Lembeck tried out for Jack Tripper too. I think he

would have made a great Jack Tripper and would have been my 2nd choice for the role.

Regarding the theme and this is probably not popular but I never have liked the theme.

It just seems generic like the first season of Wings' theme. Later on, Wings got rid of

it.
