"This program was recorded on tape before a live audience."

Why would Bonnie Franklin, during this spiel on the end credits during season one of One Day at a Time, say "this program..." instead of the actual title of this series? Only in season 2 would Bonnie's spiel be changed to mention this series's name:

"One Day at a Time was recorded live on tape before a studio audience."

I noticed that too and I also thought it was strange.

Nice they also got rid of the silly phrase "live audience."

I wonder if she did it for more than 1 show?
