The way this works is from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, you choose your top 5 favorite shows. Number one gets five points, two gets four, three gets three, four gets two, and five gets one. In the end, from each decade, the top one goes on to the finals, where they face each other. You can choose any show from that decade, no show that started in 2000+, also, if you don't know what shows are where, check out the decades. If you have less than five, it is fine. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE! Next Friday at 9:30, this will end and the finals begin!

Hey, a Starsky & Hutch TV movie would be great! I've been waiting for one for 20 years. All of the main actors are still alive, too. Besides David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser, there is Bernie Hamilton (Cap't Dobey) and Antonio Fargas (Huggy Bear).

I don't understand. I thought this was supposed to be THE best show of all time. People are writing in all types of shows -- sitcoms, dramas -- so why are you singling out variety shows and saying they don't count? They're TV shows just as much as sitcoms and dramas. Regarding Cheers, why are you treating that only as a 1990s show? It ran even more years in the '80s than the '90s, but covered both decades.

When I said Cheers is a 90s show, that was a typo, I never got around to changing that. Variety shows don't because it covers more decades, and hey! This is my thread! ;)
