First, Arlene Golonka was a super cutie in this series. She's a pleasure to watch.

I had a difficult time enjoying this episode. Maybe it wasn't funny enough. Perhaps it's because Millie is wearing unflattering clothing/style- a midi granny dress. And then there's Emmit's wife up in arms because all her mini-skirts are out of fashion. Leave it to the Mayberry men to scheme a plan to get Millie to realize that the best fashion of Mayberry is to encourage all women to keep their skirt lengths hiked up high.

Part of the tale occurs with Howard as a reporter for a newspaper. Howard has time to moonlight as a newspaper man?

This episode, like the one about Emmit upset with his wife running a successful business (boutique) was too far out for me to enjoy.
