How bad has network TV gotten from 1984 to 2023? Really bad.

Yes. TV was way better in 1984. I miss those days.

It is amazing that an entertainment industry with only 3 or 4 options for TV produced far more good content than the dozens or hundreds of outlets we have from 2010 onward.
