This is probably the best time of year if you planning to buy Christmas gifts, or pick up something for yourself. Don't like dealing with store crowds so I mostly do online shopping as it is so much more convenient. Ordered a wireless ear buds and a Bomber jacket at 65% off from Walmart, and probably do a quick in store browsing when I pick up those orders on Friday.

Me, I'm working. But if I did have the day off, I wouldn't be out and about, too much craziness. I mostly shop online now. But Saturday, I will support a local business.

Just got back from store and it wasn't too bad as not too many crowds. As you said most people probably do shopping online. Most of black Friday electronic items were already gone in the store-such as 65 inch TV for $228. The lady said those TVs were gone within an hour of store opening.

Same with us. We decided no gifts this year as we all have what we need. My 2 children are adults and so are my 2 grandchildren. My daughter will have a nice Christmas dinner and that is all we want. Until we get some great grandchildren
in our little family to buy for (which I loved to do with my grandchildren) we will forgo gift giving for now. present::stocking::santa:

Yes, however the sales aren't just what they used to be. many years ago shopping included dvds and cds but has now branched out into other departments .Found some nice stuff in my travels. Started day early but as it went on the crowds picked up. The malls by far were the worst.
