Right now I have discovered a new game show that is on CBS named Loteria Loca which translates in English as Crazy Bingo or Crazy Lottery and is based on a famous popular game in Mexico and is a game filled with excitement and fun. Hosting Loteria Loca is telenovela superstar Jaime Camil and doing DJ duties is Shelia E. Now I know a lot about this game because my mom used to play it all the time when she was growing up as a child. In Loteria Loca two contestants try to win loteria three times and the winner goes on to a special bonus round to win a million dollars but there are cards called Locas "which means in English Crazies" which enable the player to participate in Loca Challenges which are various challenges based on popular Mexican customs. And in the final bonus round similar to Tic-Tac Dough contestants have to score loterias to win a million dollar prize but similar to Press Your Luck's Whammies contestants have to avoid the Red Skulls. I think this show is a lot of fun and even my mother was impressed with Loteria Loca and liked it too
Check out this amazing show and you'll love just as I did

Loteria Loca was a flop even by today's lesser ratings standards. CBS pulled it from their schedule a few weeks ago.

Loteria Loca got canceled by CBS? I didn't know that because I only found out about Loteria Loca when I saw it in my Paramount+ queue and thought I'd give it a watch and my mom was watching it with me and she thought the show was cool. This show also reminded me of Catch-21 and a mix of Card Sharks and I must admit the cards looked amazing with the graphics of a real loteria game but virtual. I asked my mother if she has heard of Jaime Camil and she had never even heard of Jaime Camil but for a first time game show host he certainly brought Loteria Loca to life and his delightful mix of English and Spanish made this show a smart watch. Why CBS cancelled Loteria Loca i'd never understand because this show looked amazing and the set was really beautiful too like something out of Disney's Coco. If it continued this show would've been a promising hit

Jaime Camil has been the go-to-mc game show host for Mexican versions of The Price of Right and Family Feud. I think the versions were titled Atinale al Precio and 100 Mexicanos Dijeron (or Personas). He's a very good host and met Bob Barker when they were trying to launch the Price is Right in Mexico City.

Oh I didn't even know that Jaime Camil was a huge game show host in Mexico. Has he also been in telenovelas too? Because when I asked my mom about Jaime Camil she claimed she never had seen him act in telenovelas before. I think Loteria Loca might be Jaime Camil's first step to becoming a huge game show star in America and become as big as Regis Philbin or Alex Trebek if he gets the chance to do more English language game shows in America. Is Jaime Camil like the Pat Sajak of Mexico in game show hosts?
Thanks for the info Rusty

They are gonna burn off some episodes that were produced before it was cancelled that hadn’t aired yet.

Loteria Loca is a show that CBS should've given more promotion because from the episode I saw Loteria Loca showed promise and the gameplay was excellent and Jaime Camil was a great host for it but I think Loteria Loca suffered the same fate that CBS's Million Dollar Password with the late Regis Philbin did. I think when it comes to game shows CBS is good with daytime game shows but at nighttime game shows they have become weak. I think they wanted to air Loteria Loca in the nighttime because they think that's when people watch the most TV. But CBS should've given Loteria Loca more episodes and I think it will become one of the forgotten CBS game shows like the terrible Candy Crush game show with Mario Lopez

I think why Loteria Loca got cancelled by CBS was that CBS did not give the show enough promotion and they thought it would get good ratings as a fall show. But I think had CBS promoted Loteria Loca as a summer show it would've lasted longer because just like ABC has Celebrity Family Feud Press Your Luck To Tell The Truth and The 100,000 Pyramid every summer CBS knows that the summer is huge for game shows because game shows replace reruns of dramas and sitcoms sometimes as fill-ins. But you got to admit Jaime Camil did an awesome job as host of Loteria Loca and I hope he gets the chance at another English language game someday

I think CBS gave Loteria Loca poor treatment because I think CBS wanted a game show for the nighttime hours and they saw that many people watch game shows at night and so with Loteria Loca CBS thought they could pull off good ratings with this show. But like they did with Regis Philbin's Million Dollar Password Loteria Loca was not promoted well enough. Because CBS thinks that daytime game shows like The Price Is Right and Let's Make A Deal are the strongest links for TV watching but for nighttime game shows CBS is known for being weak. But I truly think Loteria Loca should've been given another chance by CBS because it was a great game show
