An I Love Lucy Thanksgiving:

(Ricky comes home. He sees the Mertzes and Lucy.)

Ricky: “Hello everyone.”

Lucy: “Hello Ricky!”

Ricky: “I got some exciting news. My club is going to perform on the Club Babalu float on the Macys Thanksgiving Parade. We will perform the turkey song that Adam Sandler sung on SNL.”

Fred: “That’s great Ricky.”

Lucy: “That’s great news. I get to be on the show.”

Ricky: “I got some news for you Lucy. You can not be in the show.”

Lucy: “Why not? This is my chance to be recognized.”

Ethel: “Lucy you are already recognized by all the times you inadvertently ruined Ricky’s shows. They are on YouTube.”

Lucy: “Ooooh. This time, I promise that I won’t ruin it.”

Ricky: “The answer is no. If you louse me up, your eagle is cooked.”

Lucy: “Goose.”

Ricky: “What?”

Lucy: “My goose is cooked.”

Ricky: “I don’t care what you call it but NO.”

(The next day, Lucy gets Ethel over.)

Ethel: “Lucy, what’s the news?”

Lucy: “Im going to be in the show if it’s the last thing I do. Me and you will get into this turkey costume and we will dance with Ricky. You will be the caboose while I am in front.”

Ethel: “Lucy.”

Lucy: “Don’t you want to be recognized? After all, this is my chance at stardom. Please?”

Ethel: “All right.”

(They arrive in NYC. Fred & Little Ricky meets Ricky at the barricade.)

Ricky: “Where are the girls?”

Fred: “I dunno. They said they were going somewhere else to watch the parade and we will meet each other at the subway.”

Ricky: “There’s Al Roker and Jenna Bush Hager.”

(Fred whistles at Jenna.)

Ricky: “Fred she’s too young for you.”

Fred: “Oh come on.”

Ricky: “I’ll have to get going.”

(Meanwhile the girls get into the costume and get ready to go on the float as the parade stops so Ricky can perform.)

Ricky (singing): “Turkey/I love Turkey…” (the girls get on stage and dance this surprises Ricky): “…Turkey for me/turkey for you.”

(Lucy trips and falls onto Ricky. The costume rips and Ethel & Lucy’s faces are shown. Ricky is FUMING.)

Fred: “I knew that Ethel was in that part of the costume just by looking at her behind.”

Lucy: “Now Ricky. Happy Thanksgiving honey! You will back on this and laugh. Hahaha! Hahaha!”

(Lucy cries.)
