Strange New Worlds series premiere sets up Pike's arc, important Star Trek character relationships, & the inevitability that defines its first season.

I thought the ending to Episode 1 of Season 1 of Star Trek Strange New Worlds was excellent and I think it really set up what the next episodes in Season 1 will be about. I also noticed that before the end credits there is a dedication and I wonder who the dedication was for. Do you know?
