As much as I'm opposed to the New FA.. my curiousity has gotten the better of me. Is anyone taping the show, and if so can I get a copy (I'll pay for the tape and shipping)? I don't get WB. Thanks.:crazy:

I taped the episode. It was an hour long. I taped it commercial free. I get WB on cable, and UPN on satellite, and my UPN carries regular UPN programming, but it also carries WB programs at odd times. Anyway, I taped both airings the one regularly on Cable/WB and UPN/WB. WB one is lesser quality, but has the commercials and I believe, Harry Potter preview, while the UPN/WB one has no commercials and no Harry Potter preview and no WB logo. So which ever you want, just let me know.

BTW, do you tape trade? I read on here that you can see the old Family Affair on CTS in Canada. Are you taping it? I would love to trade...

I'm a fan of the original and have had the pleasure of meeting Kathy Garver and John Whitacker, a few years back. Rumour has it they will appear in this new version shortly. I have taped both episodes so far, it's not bad, Curry is funny, the kids are cute as a button and Cissy makes me wish I was 18 again. Gary Cole is perfect for the role of Uncle Bill. It's not the original by any means, but, It's good. By the way, how do you add pictures here? Thanks:wave:

Regarding the Jody switch in the New Family Affair, I have no idea why they did that. I liked the first one better. The 2nd one is a little more annoying, LOL.
