I'll be the first to admit that I really don't like shows or games like this (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Gap_(game_show)#:~:text=Generation%20Gap%20is%20an%20American,Game%20show). You know the type that pits baby boomers against millennials (https://slate.com/culture/2019/05/jimmy-kimmel-millennials-kids-analog-clock.html) or Gen Z and what not. The stuff that Ellen DeGeneres (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfyeR1vUUos) or Jimmy Kimmel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMIxv8tfOL4) would do on their talk shows (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMKNw5bTKGU).
I'm not too surprised that the children that were featured on Generation Gap (https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/kelly-ripa-generation-gap-contestants-stumped-072255627.html) wouldn't immediately recognize Cheryl Ladd (https://www.instagram.com/p/Cl9Utu5D0YV/) or know who she is. I mean, Charlie's Angels went off the air back in 1981, which must be at least, a good 30+ years before these kids were even born.
Still, I don't know if I should feel horrible and embarrassed for Cheryl (https://www.facebook.com/TheRealCherylLadd1/) considering that she along with Jaclyn Smith, was pretty much the "face" of a legit pop cultural phenomenon (https://crimereads.com/the-strange-cultural-legacy-of-charlies-angels/) like Charlie's Angels (https://www.thenews.com.pk/magazine/instep-today/572327-understanding-the-charlies-angels-phenomenon).
