View Full Version : My blog, Lostnfoundblogs, is now a podcast!!
crystaldawn 11-05-2023, 12:21 PM Hello peeps! After many requests I am turning my blog articles into podcast form. I think this will get even more attention to these cases. My first episode was just posted today and it is Part 1 of 2 of a case we are all very familiar with...Dale Kerstetter!

Killarney Rose 11-05-2023, 02:52 PM I’m happy for your success, but I will miss the written form. I don’t do podcasts.

I prefer the blog myself.. But.. I like it so much.. I'll give a listen to the podcast.
The spoken word can carry much more meaning behind it than writing can at times. Just from inflection and the like.

I appreciate that! I still love to write so I definitely won't rule out any more articles in the future. I just want to get more attention to these cases and feel I can do that if I release a podcast so am going to work on that right now.

Thank you so much Labonte! I hope you enjoy the podcast, I'm still getting used to doing it. Another good thing about releasing them now is I almost always have more information to the case then when I first posted the article. Dale Kerstetter's Part 2 (that I hope to post Sunday) has quite a bit of information that wasn't covered in either one of my articles.
TheCars1986 11-09-2023, 09:58 AM Can't wait to listen to this. It'll be another thing I can listen to on my walks.

crystaldawn 12-10-2023, 12:44 PM Here is my latest podcast on the crimes of Mark Riebe. It seems a lot of people don't know this but he confessed to the murder of Pamela June Ray which was featured on UM. Police think the confession is true.

Hi, I finally donated $25 to you today. I was going to do it right after Christmas but as you know we all get too busy during Thanksgiving and Christmas that we cant get everything done lol or we forget to do some things. I will donate to you again; love your podcasts and online articles/reports. Thanks. When I created my idName i was going to merge 'oba chandler' and 'oga pogo' lochness type monster. But I didnt merge it right lol. = oba chandler + oga poga = oba poga ? half lochness / half man = full monster either way... (or maybe the lochness was a polite unknown creature vs the evil oba chandler human). Its Ogopogo. It kinda rhymed with Oba. Ogo ---- Oba. I was off a bit. My name is "Oba poga dots" as in Oba polka dots

ogapogadots 01-04-2024, 11:48 PM Hey Crystaldawn. Keep up the good work!
I love your name - Rerungirl. That best describes me i guess, both today and in the past 15 years: i love re-runs especially of unsolved mysteries but also of other old tv shows from the 80s and 90s! "be kind, rewind" i remember seeing this sticker (slogan) in the 90s on vhs tapes when i rented vhs/vcr movies every week!
crystaldawn 01-19-2024, 09:18 PM Thank you for the donation, ogapogadots! It is much appreciated! :)
Thanks so much Rerungirl. :D
I now have 6 episodes on there and will have another one ready Sunday morning (I've been posting one every other Sunday so far). After that I'll work on the Dub and Chance Waukerhagen one with of course a lot more information than was on their UM segment.
ogapogadots 01-20-2024, 12:31 AM I look forward to the Dub & Chance episode! I think I was wrong. I always thought Dub, due to his anger or temper, was definitely the killer of his girlfriend. Because it simply makes sense - angry person gets into a verbal fight with their spouse, snaps, and kills her. Then takes off. Of the many, many true crime cases I have seen in the last 15 years some were about married couples or divorced couples where adultery happened and later on the cheater killed his/her spouse to get with his mistress. other true crimes the wife killed her husband due to greed (aka life insurance). Others of course were about fights. Thus I easily assumed Dub, with his temper, went too far one night and cowardly took off. = You just dont hear about angry people getting murdered, though i am sure it happens. In so many murder cases the victim is nice, humble, giving, etc according to their friends and family. Dateline, Unsolved Mysteries, 48 Hours, 20/20, etc = "she always lit up a room". Henry Winkler is in a recent commercial about some product where he says his old father-in-law recently passed away and that he "always lit up a room". I was like - Henry, you cant say that! only true crimers can boast that. lol.
Thank you for the donation, ogapogadots! It is much appreciated! :)

I think you have the natural thought process there. You hear the basics of the case.. Dub killed her, took off with Chance. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.
But.. Once you dig a little deeper.. With Dub's truck being found with blood in it where it was after as much time as it was.. The fact that they've been 'missing' for over 30 years now.. The fact that there was some weird stuff with Latricia's ex..
I find it unlikely that Dub and Chance lived 24 hours after Latricia was killed. And the same person responsible for her death was responsible for hers.
I think Chance was used to control Dub. With the killer knowing that both of them would wind up dead.
Why not kill them at the house? well.. When they're missing.. They're still suspects.. Which means.. You're not the one being focused on. It might have been a crime of opportunity to 'disappear' Dub and Chance, but.. I think it was an intentional, calculated play by the person who killed all of them.
I've got to listen to some of these tonight. Been meaning to for quite some time.
crystaldawn 03-26-2024, 11:41 AM Hello peeps! I haven't been posting on here every time I upload a new podcast but they are out every two weeks. I did want you guys to know that a few of the recent ones have been about UM segments like Clifford Sherwood and Charlotte Pollis. Charlotte's 30th disappearance just passed and I spoke with her brother and he told me about a recent "Paul Pollis" story that I included in the podcast that you guys will probably appreciate. The one coming out this weekend will include a discussion with Robin Warder from the board and "The Trail Went Cold". They are posted anywhere you find podcasts but the most 5 recent episodes are listed on my website at www.lostnfoundblogs.com. Thanks!
