Can anybody else confirm of this special's existence? Apparently, there was a TV Guide Fall preview for that year that said that Joyce was earmarking for an hour long musical comedy special, but in never aired. Ben Vereen, Sugar Ray Leonard and her then real life boyfriend, Ray Buktencia were announced as guests. Allegedly, ABC was worried after the Suzanne Somers debacle, that Joyce would bolt to CBS, where they were proposing a sitcom starring her.

I never knew that Joyce had a offer from CBS. I know after 3's she was offered the lead role in "She's The Sheriff". I think they offered it to Priscilla first then Joyce? I also heard a few others as well. Of course, Suzanne ended up with the role. I'm surprised though considering the CBS vehicle for Suzanne called "Susie" went nowhere.
