Ann's screen time is really reduced in season 9 with Barbara's home being the new center. Ann wasn't in either of tonight's episodes at all. The great news: neither was Schneider the loud pest. But one downside: without Ann Howard Hesseman doesn't get to appear much despite being 2nd billed in the episodes he does show up. I like Sam when he is there, but they shouldn't have had him related to Mark. Daughter and mother marrying son and father is strange.

If you were watching on Antenna, they cut scenes out a lot. The Ave Romano episode has Ann in it originally , just briefly , but she stops by the house to meet Tony and p/u a blouse that she leant to Barbara. I noticed yesterday that scene was cut out !

I know really , he was a snooty waiter a few times , I would think they would catch on !! Mark and Grandma were the only two who never were waited on by him, so they have an excuse at least! :D
