I just got braces today! they're purple! they feel a little weird though and it's hard to chew. does anyone here have braces?

Cool! I guess! hehe. No, I don't have braces...I'd want a hot pink if I got braces. heh heh. Don't ask. ():)

Ah, I'm sorry! I feel your pain or whatever pain you will have. I had braces in 3rd and 4th grade and then in 7th and 8th... but I just got mine off on Aug. 29. They suck so bad. But hey, purple is a very cool color!

I had mine for 3 years exactly. I got them off last March. Right now, I'm almost done wearing my retainer full-time. After this I only have to wear it at night

I had braces in the 6th grade throo the very end of 7th. They weren't the colored kind, but we could get colored rubber bands. I never wore em tho. They hurt like a PISS MONKEY. But I'd wear em the day before I had to go back and the Ortho is like "oh...your teeth look great!" Hhahaha.

ahh braces.. i got mine on in July... so im kinda new to them too! I only have top ones right now... theryre orange :-) I FEEEEL YOUR PAON!

I hate braces. They really annoying at first but then you get used to them. I've had mine for a little more than 2 years. I actully got them on the 7th of July and my b'day is on the 8th. Some birthday present! :rolleyes:

I had braces in 8th grade only for a year or so. I hated them so much...thats because I had ONE tooth that wasnt straight and the stupid orthodonist decided I needed to get them on ALL my teeth to straighten ONE tooth...ughhh.
They feel sooo weird at first and smiling is so weird feeling..I hated that. Stock up on lip gloss! Id always accidently scrape my lip on the braces and it would be soo gross.

I've had braces on for three and a half years now and all I can say is UGH. I hate them and just want them off all ready and I should sometime next month. :D They are bearable though, as long as you don't have them as long as I did!

I know it feels weird to smile, and I can't eat the foods I normally
eat!!! aaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggg and at the back the braces get caught in the inside of my cheek, it sucks, but I'll get used to
it.

Ugh, braces...luckily I only had mine on for a little more than a year. They're a pain at first, but then you get used to them.

I got braces last year owwwwwww i still have them now! i remember they hurt for the first week i ate soup that whole week cuz it hurt when i chewed things..... but you get used to them after awhile. and right now mine r pink

LOL the rubber bands that stretch from top to bottom? Dewd those killed me. They would always snap and I'd swallow them on accident.

Ew... I never had that happen to me. Though they'd snap when I opened my mouth 'czu one he didn't make the wire in the back long enough... so evertime I'd open my mouth you'd here this SNAP! God, it hurt like hell too. lol.

Good lord i feel sorry for u. My bottom teeth are a teensy bit crooked and i dont think my mom knows but heck no there is no way im gettin braces on em.
