Especially as her character (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Characters/StepByStep) lost her tomboy aesthetic and became more stereotypically "girly" (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GirlinessUpgrade). On that end, didn't it seem like she would forget how to stand up to Mark's bullies and what not?
