I was watching episode #3 of Eight Is Enough on Tubi and when the newspaper went on strike I noticed that Tom Bradford's secretary offered Joan Bradford a job when Tom Bradford was staying home and so I wondered if on Eight Is Enough Joan ended up working for the Sacramento Register along with Tom in the later episodes?

I don’t think so. She was mainly a homemaker and did freelance photography.
