The original iCarly was iconic for how it used the internet as a storytelling tool and for how it predicted a lot of the modern internet. But the iCarly revival, being made in an era where the internet is part of our everyday lives and is no longer this niche thing, seems to have lost that. The iCarly revival is great, but it also misses the point of what the original had to say. It's interesting to say the least (see what I did there, bit of a Drake & Josh, Miranda Cosgrove, interesting meme moment).
